This is a beautiful, quiet, leafy special corner of the world.beautiful rooms, great hosts, super food (cooked on a wood stove) no plastic. Remarkably cool even in April we didn't need to use the AC.

বাড়ির বাইরে নিজের বাড়ির মতো। আতিথেয়তা, আয়োজন, পরিবেশ, আহার- সব কিছুই অসামান্য। এটা ঠিক হোটেল বা রিসর্টের মতো সাধরণ বা সামান্য নয় তার থেকেও অনেক বেশি।
গ্রাম আর গ্রামের মানুষকে চেনা জানার এমন সুযোগ শান্তিনিকেতন বা আসপাশে আর কোথাও নেই।
কাছেই রাইপুর গ্রামে হেঁটেই পৌঁছনো যায়। সেখানে ভেঙে-পড়া রাজবাড়ি আর প্রচীন মন্দির এক অনন্য অভিজ্ঞতা। কয়েকটা ছবি রইলো।

ভিড় থেকে দূরে, গাছপালার মধ্যে ক'দিন শান্তিতে থেকে আসার জন্য অত্যন্ত ভালো জায়গা। একেবারে বাড়ির খাবারের মতো স্বাস্থ্যকর খাবার। এখানে আপনাকে সবসময় একটা মিষ্টি হাসির সাথে আপ্যায়ন করা হবে। প্রত্যেকে যেকোনো সময় যেকোনো বিষয় সাহায্য করতে প্রস্তুত। আমার ভীষণই ভালো লেগেছে। আমি আবারও যেতে চাইব।

If you need to refill with beautiful nature and very good home-made food, this place is for you.
Beautiful rustic decorated and clean cabins with private veranda and bathroom, very peaceful environment, And most importantly, lovely, kind and caring hosts.
I definitely come back and highly recommend it.

The first time we entered the premises, we were welcomed with a great smile by Soumya da, the host there. Even though it was dark as we reached the place in the evening, we felt the beauty surrounding us. We got a canine friend there named Mallal and he was so adorable. I just got another company there. We were given our booked rooms and as soon as we entered the room, we were stunned. It was so beautifully arranged. There was a beautiful place for dinner and Poly provided us with everything we needed. It was very cold? At the time we visited. There were geysers in the bathrooms. It was big, neat and clean. I would love to suggest that it would have been better if there was a mirror in the bathroom and a cupboard for keeping our belongings. Other than that it was a wonderful stay. It also has a place for a bonfire, a hammock, and arrangements to sit outside and sip your tea.the food was also delicious. I loved the whole experience there.

The FarmHouse is a place which provides one with serenity. Away from the bustle of the main city, it is tucked away in a quiet corner of Mirzapur. With nature all around, we did not feel like being inside the room for long. The property is quite large and the space is very intelligently utilized- not overcrowded with unnecessary materials. The architecture does not restrict your movement here.it's open and flowy.
What grabbed our attention was the minimization of plastic and plastic products.
The property also has a café in it. It hosts a bookshelf, and the collection can cater to a range of readers. The food is very comforting. The lemongrass tea is a must-try! If you decide to sit just by the café window, maybe Pnuti, or Boren will come upto you asking for a pet!
Everybody at the FarmHouse is very friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay. Wish to visit again soon!

The place is excellent if you are looking for some place which is away from city life and middle of nature.
The owners and their staff are very cordial, helpful. The food is homely and nice.
Rooms are clean however they are stripped to bare essentials. Bed are bit small. There is no AC or Gieser so height of Summers or Winters are not good time to visit.
Hope they improve the rooms, coz they offer a great value for money.

Nestled into the greenery of the little village of Mirzapur, about 6kms from Bolpur Railway Station, is The Farmhouse, owned and managed by Soumya, Adrita and their little family of staff members and four legged children.
It took us around about 20mins to reach the place from Bolpur station by toto. The pick up was arranged by Soumya only. On reaching the place, we found it to do complete justice to all the good reviews we had read about it.
The clean little pond surrounded by the many trees, the visiting migratory birds and their sweet melody, the ever smiling hosts and their extremely polite staff, the adorable dog family they own, everything was just perfect. The room was very spacious and had all the necessary features. The food was excellent too, as well as the eating area. The entire place is done up with great taste. The menu offered a nice spread of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, all of which were very tasty and the price also, reasonable.
The garden had swings and hammocks and the wind chimes tied to the trees just made the sweetest of music when the breeze set in. The place had us completely under its spell and surely we'd be going back there whenever we're in Bolpur.
If you are also looking for a detox from the busy city life, this is the place. Do visit and treat yourself to a soothing and fulfilling stay amidst Nature at her purest.

If you seek peace other then Himalaya you need to come here! In lap of nature and authentic cuisine you can cut yourself from urban jungle and come with friends or family in these peaceful and happening place called The Farm House.

Wonderful place with a very good ambience. The owners are very hospitable, catering to every need of their guests. The place has been created out of hardwork, passion and finished with extreme love. Their efforts make the stay a peaceful one. The way in which they have preserved the natural beauty of the place is commendable. Go visit with your friends, colleagues, family or alone. You won't be disappointed.

A beautiful world away from the chaos of Shantiniketan, yet close enough to still drop in and enjoy the hang outs and shopping. We loved how well they have preserved the natural ecosystem of the pond. You can spend the whole day just watching the reflection of the clouds passing by on the water

This a great place to be. If you really seek the perfect weekend gateway this is where you should be. The staff here is very polite and educated. They will help you with anything and everything. The rooms are well furnished and maintained accordingly. I have been here almost 4times and everytime I had to extend my vacation. You will not want to leave this place. The atmosphere of the place is serene and beautiful amid trees, ponds and flowers.
The food they serve is so light and tasty. A rare combination to find these days. You must give it a try. Don't miss out on this place. And if you are an avid photographer it will be a bonus.

Can you really write something just nice about an impeccable place? Perhaps not, and so just a mere set of words wont do justice to this rustic down-to-earth home amidst the shade of nature in rural Bolpur. As you drive down from the railway station, 'piles of unplanned and disrespectful concretized development' will meet your eyes on either side of the highway leading to Chandanpur/Mirjapur/Raipur village. But as you enter the lanes of the small settlement, a canopy of trees greet you at the gates of The Farmhouse. What catches your eye is the large water body that adds to the peace and calmness of the environment. Soumya, Adreeta and their family of staff members go all out to make your stay most comfortable. There is no TV or AC in any of the rooms - so the place is suitable for the discerning visitors only who are keen to find solace in silence. The waft of breeze, murmur of the trees and chirping of the birds help you introspect into the 'nothingness of material living'.
This is a place that will beckon your soul repeatedly - and you will do well to go back to immerse into the fairy tale named 'The Farmhouse'.

What a beautiful pristine place tucked away in a peaceful village. Adreeta and Soumya has managed to create a bubble of tranquility in a busy place like shantiniketan. My stay has been comfortable and relaxed. The hosts run an excellent kitchen, the rooms are cozy and clean but the real beauty are the hundreds of trees in their campus. 10/10 in my books.

Paying for a vacation or a getaway such as a vacation to The Farmhouse for a weekend trip, is common way money could buy me happiness.
Me and my friend decided to go on a weekend ride and spend the time in The Farmhouse and as soon as we entered the premises, we knew we are up for a great time. This place is surrounded by nature, away from the urban chaos. It's peaceful here, makes you happy from inside.
The hosts are very hospitable. Our room was very clean and cozy. We liked the thematic build of the place.
"The Food" - Loved every bit of food they served us. The morning tea, sandwiches, the veg/non-veg thalis, dinner items, we loved everything they served us. Special mention would be the unnamed Brinjal item, both of us enjoyed it so much.
Shantiniketan is close by. We visited Bakreshwar dam as well, now that is a little far away but if you have your own vehicle, it shouldn't be a problem.
To summarize, all I can say is that I have never had such a beautiful morning waking up to the songs of birds, light cold breeze and an amazing tea.
A must visit for your weekend trip or staycation. To the hosts - We will visit again, soon.

Beautiful place close to nature. And Adreeta didi and Soumyo Dada they are the best hosts! Such homely behaviour, food and stay. I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful trip away from the urban chaos. Good quality food at reasonable rates. Clean copy rooms. Feels more like home.

We visited this serene and quite place at Mirzapur for two nights and three days. The peaceful surrounding that is not only wooded but also blessed with few tanks/ponds. It was a perfect festival of delight of mother Nature.

This facility belongs to SEVA organisation who are doing great work but did not have time to visit those. But always there is a next time.

A beautiful and serene place for a quick weekend get-away at shantiniketan or any kind. The hosts are very hospitable. The menu is scrumptious and they can make you basically anything you want. The rooms are clean and cozy with a great view of the nature outside.

Farm house at Bolpur is a place which we enjoy from time to time. We first visited in 2020. And now in 2021. May we come here once more in this year. A place we love passionately, enjoy homely, relish the food exquisitely, talk to them as our dearest one.
You also come here and enjoy the ambiance away from noise of city.

"মির্জাপুর " এই ছোট্ট একটি শব্দর সঙ্গে আমার জীবনের গভীর ভালোবাসা কীভাবে মিশে গেছে। বোলপুর স্টেশন থেকে সাত - আট কিলোমিটার দূরে একটা বিচ্ছিন্ন তপোবনের নাম মির্জাপুর ফার্ম হাউস। আমার মেয়ের দু' বন্ধু আদৃতা- সৌম্যর একান্ত ভালোবাসা আর যত্নে গড়ে উঠেছে এই পান্থ নিবাস। মৌনতাই এই নিবাসের পরম প্রাপ্তি। যারা অরণ্য আর শান্তিনিকেতনের স্বাদ পেতে চান, অরবতার ঘন নিশ্বাস গ্রহণ করতে চান তাদের কাছে এই আশ্রমের বিকল্প নেই।

এখানকার ভোর, সন্ধেবেলা রাতের অন্ধকার, আপনাকে মুগ্ধ করে দেবে। মনে হবে আরও ক'টা দিন কাটিয়ে যাই।

এখানে তেজ নেই, দাহ নেই, টিভি নেই, বিকট গানের উদ্দামতা নেই, । আছে অন্ধ সময় থেকে উঠে আসা প্রশান্তি। জীবনের স্নিগ্ধ অবসর।

ও বলতে ভুলে গেছি, এখানে আধুনিক ব্যবস্থার চার- ছ'টি কটেজ আছে, আদৃতা- সৌম্যর হাসি আছে, মধুর আপ্যায়ন আছে, আপনার মনের মতো পরিচ্ছন্নতা আছে, সুখাদ্যর সুভদ্র পরিবেশন আছে, সুগন্ধি চা আছে কিন্তু সুরা নেই। বৈভবের দুষ্ট খিদে নেই, কিন্তু ডাকলেই টোটো আছে। সামান্য দূরে শান্তি নিকেতন, বিশ্ব ভারতী সোনাঝুরি হাট কোপাই নদী, শ্যামবাটি খাল, আর সর্বমঙ্গলার মিষ্টি।

আপনি নিজেই একবার মির্জা পুরে চলে আসুন না। কারণে অকারণে জীবন বদলে যাবে ক্ষণে ক্ষণে।।

Placed in the midst of nature, away from the buzz of the main city the place is perfect for a weekend getaway. A perfect place to relax amidst nature, at Shantiniketan while not being among the constant bustle of Bolpur. Our experience was wonderful. The food was an added bonus. Cooked very well, lightly yet was delicious. The decoration was also unique and interesting, and comfortable at the same time.

I knew about this place since 2016. Adreeta my darling sister and her partner Soumya started this journey and invited me to come over. I finally arrived in November 2019. I was awestruck assoon as I entered the place, the serenity was all in the air. I connected immediately with the space. The wagging tails greeted me along with some fresh lemongrass tea. The rooms were cozy and warm. The food was delicious followed by the nap on the hammock beside the pond under the warm winter sun. Birds chirp here all day and that's the only sound audible. For an urban soul like me this place is a bliss. I kept coming back since then. The space itself is a mood lifter. Whenever I feel the blues I come here and recharge my system. The cafe is in the making. Once that is done I guess this place will be enhanced by book lovers and tea/coffee drinkers. Trust me on this one, if you want some peace of mind amidst nature and silence this is the place for you. Remember the Lays chips one liner? I will rephrase that for this place, "No one can come just once"

This was my first visit at The Farmhouse. I went along with friends. The place, the campus, everything was so serene! We enjoyed like anything. Coming to the food part- i still cant forget the mouth watering dishes we had there. The behaviour of the owners were too good, the friendliness of them made us more comfortable. I would like to visit real soon. The rooms were well decorated & cosy.

Lovely place to stay away from chaos and regenerate energy, a place that gives space for artistic endeavour. Will keep coming back for the home-like warmth in this pocket-friendly stay.

Just back from my first visit to the FarmHouse. I am so glad I went. I stayed there for 2 days and I somehow feel like writing about it in present continuous. In winter mornings, I ask for the chatai that Mollar has half-eaten and sit in the sun writing things I was waiting to write for long and then we have far too many koraishuti kochuris. I love lying on the hammock in the afternoons, reading a book and getting up only to do justice to the steaming cups of lemongrass tea. We spent our evenings elsewhere because that as the purpose of our visit but I can't wait to witness evenings at the FarmHouse. At 10pm, I ask Adreeta shyly if it's too late for another cup and she smiles and says that she'll send it right away. I didn't want to come back, seriously. I am visiting again as soon as I can. Also, they are re-defining pocket-friendliness, so that's another plus.

A fantastic new find very close to Bolpur. One can enjoy the peace, tranquility, of this place and yet be pretty drivable close to Bolpur with its crowds and din. The rooms are basic but very nice and clean, the full property is designed pretty tastefully. The food, nice and simple. The hosts, will go out of the way to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended for people who want a complete detox from urban life.

All the technical details (like fooding, lodging, hygine, cleanliness etc.) have already been mentioned in other reviews. There's nothing to add there. The only thing I want to talk about is the soul of this place.

We planned there to stay for one day and had further booking in main Bolpur town. And after staying for one night, we cancelled the other bookings and stayed there for two more nights. This place is now connected to my soul. I am already missing the serenity, the simplicity and the good vibes this place offers. Not to mention that two beautiful souls who run this place, Soumo and Adreeta, are being missed as well. And oh, Shubho, the kid and Mallar, the dog - last three mornings were full of joy due to them. This place has become one of the second homes to me and I will always find a chance to go back there. Thanks to the universe for taking me to this place.

I just wish every troubled soul find a place like this. More power to Soumo and Adreeta. ️

The stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The people there were extremely warm and welcoming. The food was lip smackingly delicious. Overall it was a delightful experience.

The hospitality and the ambience was a solace for the soul. I will escape there again and again whenever I can find the time.

At first when I went there, it was a completely unknown place for me. But now I can say that I have a perfect place to spend time with my solitude. I stayed there for 2 days and didn't even feel to step out from that place. Beside from the circumstances, the hosts made it feel as "HOME". They beautifully decorated the place with serenity. All I can say is, I found a definite reason and place to visit Bolpur often.
