Overall good hotel to be in asansol, it's value for money, though no pool, small parking, food was good. Pathetic lift

Not fit for family get together. They are unable to serve and handle multiple customers at a time and there services are slow. Staffs are untrained and novice.

Rooms are clean. Staffs are friendly. Located at the peaceful area of the city. Best hotel for business category.

Rooms are Ok. Food is on the costly side and not very tasty. Complimentary Water is not in packaged bottles which is definitely not something you look forward to. Overall an average hotel taking benefit of no other good hotels in the city

Buffet weighs on quality rather than quantity which can be a good or bad but still need to improvise in their buffert eitherwise

The rooms are adequate sized and properly maintained. Food quality is also good, with variety of dishes available.

Horrible experience nothing eorks here the ac s never cool even in a so called suite room the TV s dont work at all it is expected that a guest will have to call the house keeping to kick start any device i side a room. I was here in 2017, and now in 2021, what a fall in standards.

Excellent Hotel and professional staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. Front desk team is very nice and helpful. Food quality is very nice. Covid precautions taken from door to room.

A CHEAT PROPERTY

I hosted my sister’s engagement at the lotus in The Fern Residency, Asansol on 30th June 2021. The banquet manager Jayanta Sarkar deliberately increased the plate count by overwriting the plate count signed at the beginning of the event, without the consent of the host. He even threatened his fellow staff that if the guest doesn’t pay then it’ll be deducted from his salary. This is an absolute mockery of ethics by a reputed hotel company. By far my worst experience. I’ll say if again A CHEAT PROPERTY

Courteous staff, clean rooms with ample space. The breakfast had a lot of options and did not give us a feel of pandemic.

Spacious room. Well furnished. Neat n clean. Well behaved staffs. Complimentary breakfast was just wow. Enjoyed the breakfast

The Best place to put up whenever you visit Asansol, the staff are very polite and maintain proper standards for screening all guests entering the property.the food and bar are class apart and the Conveyor Lounge is the Best I have been too after stepping out of Kolkata. Total Value for the money spent. ️

Clean and big rooms, well behaved staff, tasty food and last but not the least.in the prime location

Limited menu, poor service, some continental dishes are good like bali prawns, grilled fish with mash potatoes, price on the higher side.

I had extremely bad experience at the hotel. I wanted booked a room for me and my girlfriend.we asked them couples allowed? The guy told me that couples allowed. All good till now.after few hours they told us please leave this room couples not allowed in our hotel.they took 5000 rupee from us.

Horrible service. Food was subpar. Anyone who is a regular to restaurants will find it abominable. Not worth it.the server looked like he wanted to kick us out. He expressed his displeasure at waiting for our table and also accused us of trying to pay with cancelled cards when in fact he didn't know how to operate the machine. Never again

Service is good. They will make u feel at ease. Even hotel location is also good. They need to work on food. Items r expensive but they aren't able to cook that well. You need instruct them so that u enjoy the food here.

You can enjoy food during food festival and get 10% discount. What you don't get is big grain rice and premium vegetables. So, I love going to Fern Residency when there are no discount to have dishes made from fresh oil, best quality ric, lentils, fresh vegetables in an air-conditioned restaurant (with out any humid perspiration of your own personal kitchen).

Good quality lodging n fooding available within reasonable cost but suffering the business due to the connector roads which is narrow to much congested n unauthorised occupied.

I have visited with my friends who want to dtink but non drinker can take masala cold drinks;only.they don't serve mocktails. Bar and restaurent is at fifth floor. Ambiance is quiet good.

Good hotel placed in Galaxy mall. Little outside heart of city. Room are neat and clean. Food is alos good specially complimentary breaks fast. But there food menu is worst with almost 0 details and many items which are available is missing in menu and hence they charge too. Much for those food.

A very decent hotel in Asansol being part of The Fern Residency group of hotels. Located in the heart of the city but still bit far from the traffic.
The rooms are spacious, well laid out and has a good view of the outside playground.

The price of the food items offered is more than enough at par with the quality of the food.surprisingly the manager said to me that all items of chicken are not available in the menu.on asking he started saying the different menus to me orally.i wonder how can a manager of a star rating resraurant say like this.moreover out of three dishes ordered by me one item was mixed fried rice which was worst.the quality of the rice is so bad which cant be available in a road side dhaba.in one line i would say that the price is very high as compared to other restaurants of different places of the same level.worst experience.

Exceptional and corteus staff. Great variety of food.ambience is to die for. Manager is helpful in arranging any special occassion.

Rooms are really really big. Food is good. If you want matka tea (tea on earthen put). Just cross the road opposite to Fern residency. Local guys will make tea for you. You will enjoy.

Attended webcast seminar on 19th jan. Poor quality service by unskilled staff. Quality of food was below standard. Terrible experience.

The hotel is amidst the heart of the city in Asansol.

- The rooms are well furnished but certainly lacks the upmarket feel. The staff though is polished & customer centric.

- In room services is good. The restaurant ambience is good but does lack substance in the quality of the food served.

- The recreation facilities could be availed. However, haven't had the time to spend any time.

Importantly, the ratings have been awarded in contrast to value for money. Had the prices been slashed a few bucks, it definitely would deserve a 4 star rating.
