Very small place but they charge very high for all food items.moreover the taste is also not good. Not recommended at all.please visit this place if you wish to waste your money. Very disappointing
A small Cafe, within a 5 minutes brisk walk from City Centre 1, Salt Lake. The Cafe has a very cozy atmosphere with calm ambience. The food available varies from coffee to tea to sweet a savory, all of which are very delicious. However, the seating capacity inside the Cafe is comparatively less. And on crowded days, it may feel stuffy. However you can always enjoy a comfortable seating at the tables just outside the Cafe.
Very nice place. Good food and great service. The outside sitting area is very good and in this atmosphere much needed. You can come enjoy the weather & company well here.
Food and ambience is nice. But it seems you haven't hired enough staff for a Sunday. Just one waiter is serving upstairs and seems too overwhelmed to give us proper attention or service. Really long wait times.
Way too small. Outdoor seating doesn't make sense in Kolkata and it's on the footpath. Biggest turn off was the latte and the sugar packets were ant infested. Left without having anything. Disgusting
Nice place to visit. Short space inside the shop but it's worthy to spend time. You can also sit outside of the shop which is well decorated.walking distance from city centre metrol station
A small but beautifully decorated road side cafe with sandwiches, burgers, coffee, tea etc at reasonable prices. Must visit once. It is located near City Centre 1.
We went there on a hot summer evening. Had hazelnut cappuccino which was awesome. Then ordered garlic chicken, fish fingers and golden fried prawn. Fish fingers were nice, dipping sauce was tasty. Garlic chicken was also good. But didn’t like the taste of fried prawns. Overall good experience.
Not everything that looks good is good is the definition of this cafe. Absolutely terrible food and coffee. Pizzas are better at Mio amore than they are over here.
Must try the hot chocolate. This cafe is easy to miss near City Center 1 but it right next to Pappu Chaiwala. Do have their hot chocolate it is amazing. Even the breads that they have and the food is very good. Do buy a pack of chili cheese sticks for yourself.
Superb Hazelnut latte and Hazelnut brownie. 100 % Recommended. A lot more affordable than Starbucks and CCD, with same level of quality of food and service.
Great Place to have a conversation. The atmosphere there is quite lovely and the food is great too. It's a must go if you are anywhere near Salt Lake City Centre.
Cozy little place to hangout with small group of friends or loved person. Nice selection of hot and cold beverages with snacks like sandwiches, cakes etc.
I have been a fan of their food since 2020 O believe, the only thing good happening to me in the pandemic was their Chocolate Mud Pie. It's still my favourite.
A very well decorated cozy place to chill out. But the food quality is extremely bad.
We ordered machiato, hazelnut coffee and belgium hot chocolate. None were worth finishing.
For food we ordered garlic butter fish fir which they used fish with bones. The club sandwich was toasted not grilled and tasteless. The brushetta was not a brushetta but cheese toasted bread.
The behaviour of the staff is a bit annoying as they do not even care weather you like the food.
This is a very cute little place near City Centre 1. They have amazing coffee and hot chocolate and variety bakery food options. Their sitting area is really small and they have nice music. The staff is less too but they are really well behaved. It's a nice one for evening chillouts. Highly recommended.
The cafe is attractive which is why I ended up here ; hiwever the food is not that good. It's just fine not very excellent food quality. Adding to that, the service is good, hygeinic and on time service.
Will give Melbourne Cafe infinity stars if that is possible because I love all the desserts that it serves. I love their Eclair a lot! Worth trying. I keep on buying tarts and pastries from here.
Hey this is not about the food but just in case you own this place and you're reading this, i think your roof is flooding or your restaurant because i hear water flowing nonstop from somewhere in this building. You're wasting a ton of water
Located on the main road approaching City Center Mall, The Melbourne Cafe is easily visible. Parking is available on the side of the road and out door seating options are made available.
I saw this place recommend on food delivery apps and after checking the menu online i decided to visit the place.
The overall getup and feel is like 'cute' types appealing to a young crowd. The facade and interiors are bright and colourful. My initial reaction though was more like Meh-bourne cafe. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but they didn't appear to have some of the products that I read on the menu online and was really interested in trying out. Also me rolling up on a cycle and in shorts probably didn't help too much either which doesn't reflect too well on profiling but it's okay. The inside is really cramped with very less space to move in and if you're cautious about social distancing you should probably sit outside.
I purchased donuts and chocolate cookies and left a bit sceptical but. I was impressed! The cookies were crunchy and chocolatey. The donut was soft. Like really soft and chocolatey. These two products really make me want to try out their remaining products.
I'm not a big coffee fan but the place does serve coffee, tea, cold beverages, sandwiches and savories. From a food standpoint I'm definitely interested in trying out their other products.
Place for coffee, cakes, pastry, cookies and adda. But the place way too small forbany big group to seat. We were 5 people and somehow they arranged a 3 stools for the seating. Coffee was great, pastries were okay. Overall fooding experience is good but please remember bakery items are mostly served which is coming along with the name of the cafe. Staff behavior were very good
So it's been a long Time since I went out. @themelbournecafekolkata was something which was on my mind
The very first impression of ths cafe to me was " A cute little cafe which is aesthetically beautiful, pleasant ambience, attractive windows, winsome renaissance seats Great colours on the walls with full Australian vibes And the most imp is Dre IRRESISTIBLE confectionery items.
One more thing good about ths cafe is ️Akash (the cafe incharge). So we ordered as per his recommendation
Hi tea Cake 100/100 Hot Mocha 9/10 Cappuccino 7/10 Blueberry cheesecake 9/10 Butterscotch cake 8/10
The butterscotch cake was good
The 3layered blueberry cheesecake was outstanding, the blueberry compote was very well made
Mocha was well brewed and the milk frost was well designed
Cappuccino was ok
️Out of this my personal fav was The simple Hi tea cake. Can't describe in words about the taste. It was perfect in every sense. Go for the hi tea cake, the simplicity of the cake would make you visit ths cafe often more
️️ The best thing I found about the cafe that it was simple, yet classy, very welcoming, a friendly atmosphere, Service was excellent, confectionery items were delish and delectable. The hot beverages were astonishing, yet to try the coolers and savoury items.
I am definitely recommending @themelbournecafekolkata Do visit this Cute Little Cafe
It was a nice and cozy Cafe. Not so spacious. Desserts like mud pies and cheesecakes are good. Shakes need to improve. Otherwise it has a very homely feeling.
Definitely try the Hot Chocolate, also the frozen dark chocolate. The sandwich isnt worth it. Its cold Sandwich basically. The puffs are good. Try the pastries and walnut brownie was worth it. The mojito was refreshing.
I have visited before with a couple of friends and had a wonderful experience.it's a beautiful cafe with a very comforting ambiance.the food is great too, especially the cheesecake.but i was wondering if one can go there alone (asking about portion sizes and ambiance for one person mainly) for some me time? My friend is asking for cafe recommendations to visit alone in his free time and i really want to suggest The Melbourne Cafe, but i don't want the experience to be awkward for him.
A little hamlet kind of place which serves amazing coffee and food. The balcony seating makes you fall in love with this city all over again. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Service is top notch too. A must visit for everyone!
Opening time noted is 8: 00 AM. Cafe did not open till 9: 00 AM. Tried calling the attached phone number, just to find out it being switched off. Had to wait outside before leaving.
Blueberry cheesecake We reached the cafe, while it was raining hard. Eating blueberry cheesecake, while it rained outside the small cafe, was very memorable. Definitely visit!
Cute little place in front of Vidyasagar College to catchup with friends over coffee. Good coffee, polite and jolly staff made the experience really great. Was only wondering why there is a British flag put up on the wall alongside photos of great Australian cricketers.
Nice small cafe with good pastries and snacks. Wide variety of hot beverages. Just the sitting area inside could be a little bigger. Rest everything is upto the mark.
I packed a coffee cheese cake which didn't have neither taste of coffee nor cream cheese. It tastes as if it was many days old. Similar with the butter Scotch pastry that i ordered. I had heard so many good things about this place but my experience turned out to be simply horrible
Cute little cafe enamouring the coffee vibes of cafes in Melbourne (Australia). The staff are super friendly and sometime you may get to have a chat with the owner. The also do home deliveries via other delivery partners (apps). Specially cozy during winter when the heating is turned on. Don’t forget to try their in house cakes.
Very good cafe. Food was really good, especially their cakes, cookies and donuts are worth trying. The place is well decorated with colourful interiors. A must visit in Salt Lake City, Kolkata
A lil cozy place, perfect for small group hangouts, the ambience is something that takes you back to the "classic bakery of granny" and surely not to mention the bake the best brownies in town, walnut brownie is a must try. Apart from that each of their baked items have something special to offer always, is like you see a common thing, but the moment it hits your taste buds, you know every penny you spent was worth it.
This is a gem i found in saltlake sector 1. This bakery shop provides you with lots of option for customised cake. You just need to find the best one for you. You can even celebrate your someone's special birthday at the bakery on request. This is cosy cafe along with different types of snack available here. You must visit once. The taste is also good and the staff is very cooperative.
