Extremely happy with this hotel. Excellent location and great service. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast buffet could have been much better. But overall, great service.
My stay at the Peerless Hotel in Kolkata was, on the whole, a pleasant experience. One of the hotel's biggest advantages is its central location, making it convenient for exploring the city and accessing various attractions and amenities.
However, there were a few aspects that were slightly offbeat. The elevators in the hotel struck me as somewhat outdated. They are smaller than what you might expect in a contemporary hotel, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially during busier times or for guests with more luggage. Additionally, the elevator buttons are located on the reverse wall, which is an unusual and slightly awkward design choice.
Despite these quirks, the overall stay was enjoyable. The hotel staff were courteous and the rooms comfortable, contributing to a good overall experience.
1. The wifi connectivity was very slow & poor. 2. I ordered food for my room, it took a long time to prepare. I noticed they had provided me with the wrong item thus, I had complained. I had to wait again for my actual order to arrive. My Lunch was perfectly ruined that day. It's a 4 star hotel, I never thought I would face such problems.
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Peerless Inn Kolkata, and my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. While the location of the hotel is undeniably fantastic, offering easy access to nearby attractions and amenities, I found the quality of the rooms to be a letdown.
The hotel's prime location in Kolkata is a definite advantage, especially for those looking to explore the city's vibrant culture and historical landmarks. With convenient transportation options and nearby dining establishments, it's a great base for sightseeing and immersing yourself in the local scene.
However, I must admit that I was disappointed with the room quality during my stay. The rooms lacked the level of comfort and modern amenities that I expected. The furnishings appeared dated, and the overall cleanliness could have been improved. It was a letdown considering the hotel's reputation.
Despite the room concerns, the staff at Peerless Inn Kolkata were friendly and accommodating. They were responsive to my needs and provided assistance whenever required. The customer service aspect of my stay was commendable, and I appreciated their efforts to make my visit comfortable.
In conclusion, while the location of Peerless Inn Kolkata is undoubtedly its standout feature, I cannot overlook the shortcomings in the room quality. If you prioritize convenience and easy access to Kolkata's attractions, this hotel might be worth considering. However, if you have high expectations for room comfort and modern amenities, you might want to explore other options.
It was my first experience to attend meeting at this hotel moreover the service was good but the food quality wasn't even at par and 2nd point which I noticed that receptionist was not co-operative
Went for Poila Baishakh and had the Thali which was available. It was awesome and the food was super tasty. Would really recommend Aaheli if one wants Bengali Cuisine.
The location of hotel is very good. It is on the main road only. Initially the room alloted to me was not upto the mark. But later after complain it was changed. The hotel team later also apologize for the inconvenience and provided me free dinner along with box of chocolates.
Currently I m staying in such hotel, it's my worst experience of Kolkata peerless Inn, poor service, poor taste of food, room is so unhygienic & nagative atmosphere. Never come again. Waste of money
It was a fine Poila-Boisakh day though But, •we had to wait, •the place have not been arranged that well, •they took way too much long time to call up our name, •the reservation of yours, will be useless, because, lot of people came randomly and they try to arrange every thing in their way but they failed…. •Food was yummy, but they took way too much time to cook it ….
•Suggestion: visit here when there is no festival or a holiday…
Awesome experience. Would recommend this place if you love to do shopping, bargaining, walk around instead of just sitting in the hotel. Thanks to Debobroto we were upgraded to a Suite and the room was really wow.
They even extended our check out time as we had a late evening flight. Loved the way the doormen greeted us with Namaste each time we entered and exited the premises (which we did frequently)
Great place to stay - it has courteous staff, inviting rooms, smooth check-in & check-out, & proximity to local market and eating options as well as to locations such as Eden, Victoria Memorial, and Indian Museum. Breakfast buffet is good and serves a variety of options (good option for picky eaters as well as for families travelling with kids). Easy to get cab from the hotel gate at reasonable prices.
All was good, just the location is at a very crowded place, though not disturbing when u r in hotel or room or at night.but it becomes hard to walk sue to park Street Market. But if u enjoy the footpath shopping it's fr you. Plus is also that it's located near Park Street.which houses very good restaurants, coffee houses and book stalls.
