The place was clean and location was good.
But over priced with no facilities. There was no heater provided for even deluxe room. Lack of availability of food items when ordered. Poor service by staff, except for one lady named avisahana or something.

The rooms are good to stay and to have a peaceful vacation.

The rooms were very nice and cozy, and the location was also perfect, tiger hill was nearby and you can visit nearby monestry as well, the hotel staff was very nice and i felt like i was staying in a house rather than in a hotel, had an amazing experience i think you should definitely consider your stay in Darjeeling here in rope resort.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Rope Resort and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly especially Jordan and Neha, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.

The resort itself is stunning, with breathtaking views and beautifully landscaped grounds. My room was spacious, clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities I could have possibly needed for a comfortable stay.

Best value for money resort in darjeeling near ghoom station. Only 12 min distance from tigerhill. Hotel services are awesome.
All staffs are very helpfull and polite.
Bathroom is very well decorated with hot water supply and cleaned commode.
Breakfast to dinner all are home delivered. Quality and quantity are top classes.

Location is 5 km away from mall road, may be issue during high season otherwise good during other times. View is beautiful and quiet place.

Rooms are very much suffocating and toilet is not upto the mark. It's more or less nasty for the visitors. We didn't get tap water supplies for two days there in the second floor rooms due to water tank was out of stock at the hilltop. The hotel is at Jor Bangla near Ghoom station and it's far away (10 to 12 km) from Darjeeling Mall Road. If you don't have any personal vehicle or rented vehicle you will definitely face trouble to come back to hotel at night at Sinchel Road (Rope Resort Darjeeling).

Extremely hospitable environment with warm & greeting staff every time you encounter them. Very good location & hygienic rooms. The food quality is also excellent. Most importantly every penny spent is worth it. Their dog (Jenny) a British retriever is one of the most cuddliest ever. Overall a fantastic experience. P. S: their chicken masala is to die for.

Good place to stay and work, with proper electricity and wifi. But food cost is very high compared to quantity, no food package available for long stay. Service is good. Bit difficult to access darjeeling mall. Area is not a developed area.

Very nice hotel. 200/250 meters uphill on the road towards Tiger Hill.

Visited during the rainy season. Witnessed 15 hours of continuous rain with moderately chilly winds and a surprisingly pleasant power cut experience. Usually not below 13°C in August. Dense fog though. Extremely fluctuating weather. Quite slippery during rains.

All staff very cooperative. Food served was very good. Miss Manjita owner very nice and Pratham helped a lot to see all sites in Darjiling and Nepal his driving is also good very nice nature. Overall we enjoyed our stay there very much as it was homely stay.thanks to all there we would definitely try again to visit here and

The view is really good, rooms r pretty clean, but food is too much expensive, but they maintain hygiene well

We stayed in rope resort after having a disappointed stay in sterling holidays darjiling.
We were very happy with our descision.
Best part about this hotel was the staff. Extremely extremely polite, friendly and supportive.
Food was also good.
Rooms were so perfect for our stay. We booked a super deluxe room and it was all worth for money.
I forgot my gifted spectacles in the room and staff was so supportive that they even arranged a courier from darjiling to my place.

Rooms are beautiful, clean and cosy. Staff also very friendly overall hospitality is good and the views from balcony also awsm but the food is not upto the mark. Food is bit costly and taste also not good. So its better to eat outside but for stay its a good option.

It's not a 3 star hotel rather it's a home stay where multiple different categories of rooms available with room service that's it! A delux room doesn't have basic things like mirror and the cupboard is like just a plywood box. Very low lightning in the room which is demotivating. A so called 3 star hotel doesn't have a card swipe machine so no option for credit card payment. However, staffs are cordial and foods are tasty, harmless. Overall homely ambience and stay experience.

Location: Away from city crowd. All facilities on walking distance. You are on vacation so choose place to sit in silence and this the place. Huge balcony to sit and watch beautiful Darjeeling.

It’s indeed a great place to stay. Hotel staff are very accommodating. Rooms are surprisingly clean even in such weather. Food is tasty too. Overall a great experience, special thanks to Manjitha Pradhan for arranging cold cough medicine.

Worst experience. No hot water service in the room. We ordered dinner and had to wait for over 1.5hours to get cold food served after 1.5hrs. Would never recommend anyone to the hotel.

It is one of the best resort for couples. The view from the room is awesome. One can see the K2 from the bed. Cannot explain it by words. They provide electric kettle, geyser etc which are essential and service is great. Staff members are very polite. Manager is friendly. Food quality is awesome. Every item I had tastes very nice. Quantity is good or normal like any other hotel.

That resort is at a very nice place just at the foot hills of Tiger Hill observatory and senchal wildlife sanctuary.
The behaviour of every staff is Excellent and outstanding. Great surroundings and aroma. Clean and luxury rooms at a very reasonable cost.
But they have limited parking you have to park outside of hotel premises but you will be able to see your vehicle from balcony.

Lineant staff with fast room service. Althought the food wasnt satisfactory but that is applicable in whole darjelling. I suggest to take room heaters to be more comfortable.overall it was a good experience. The recepetionist was lovely.fell in love with her.

The place is adjacent to Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary so every morning birds chirping will be your alarm clock. We stayed in Kanchenjunga viewing room so it was a added charm of the place. Special mention for staff & their manager Manjita, they were so attentive about our needs & moreover with a smiling face. That's really touch our heart. Big thumbs up for team Manjita & Rope management team.

The service is very good specially the food portion is best. U cannot get view from every room xcpt room 303 & 302.
The you can see view from the balcony of your floor. And the ghum monestry and batasia loop is near from this location and also the tiger hill.

Excellent hospitality by the staff of resort, very cordial and obliging any concerns raised by tourists. Must stay in this resort at Darjeeling, chilling cold and beautiful scenic view with very good rooms, room service and food, snacks was too good. The location is great, away from the highway hustle bustle, the rooms are neat and clean, the food was amazing and the entire staff and service was wonderful.

My visit to the Rope was excellent! We were three people, all birdwatchers looking to watch birds at the Senchal wildlife sanctuary which is a heaven for high altitude bird watching. The Rope is quite possibly the best place to stay near Ghum area or if you're particularly interested in exploring wilderness and enjoy solitude! Every morning you'll find plenty of birds arriving on the large balcony of the resort, species like Rufous sibia and Red billed leiothrix. It's located just beside the entry point of senchal wildlife sanctuary.
Now coming into the staying experience part, I was extremely satisfied by the behavior of the staff, their hospitality and the food they serve at the restaurant. All top notch. The rooms are quite clean and well maintained. The bathroom is nice as well. The view from the balcony also adds the special touch. I highly recommend people who don't wanna live the crowded darjelling hotels to surely visit this place.

We had an amazing 9 nights stay at the Rope resort. It was kinda second home for us. It was workation for us. So we needed a place with in-room Wi-Fi facility. We were promised a good and consistent internet connection by the manager. She kept her promise. Never faced any issues with the internet connectivity. The resort is managed by the "best manager" in town "MANJITA". She is an epitome of hospitality. I know it sounds like an exaggeration but cannot help it. By nature a very helpful person. Always tries to help guests with their needs and issues if any.
The rooms are spick and span. The on-premises restaurant is nice too. The staff is good and very well led by Manjita. Like her, the staff is very courteous and friendly. Nice tea and food.
Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay at the resort. Manjita took good care of us. Thanks Manjita for your great hospitality.

If you want to stay away from the bustling mall road of Darjeeling, the Rope resort is the best place. Highly recommended! Thanks again.

Great rooms with huge balconies right next to it. Its 20-25 mins far from chaurastha but just 5 kms to tiger hill. They can make arrangement for bonfire in the night and one can go tiger hill next day but make sure to book a cab a day ahead before 7 pm or you can trek to tiger hill 45 mins trek with the locals. Resonable prices. Sachin follows up with you if you're stay is going good. So great hospitality. Good helpful staff. Shoot them a call.

Very good rooms, Good food, Very good ambience. Veey well behaved staff. A ton of thanks to Manjitaji & Nikitaji-the two ever smiling sweet ladies of the front desk, who are always at their toes to slolve any problem with a smile at any time of the day.definitely shall visit again with my family in very near future. First of all falling shorts of words to describe our happiness, cause the holiday was obviously special but The Rope made it most memorable one like a cherry on the cake. Everything was so perfect. All the credit goes to Manjita ji and Nikita ji. The efforts they give all the people starting from arrival till departing is comendable. Everything was totally like a home. Thanks to them cause they made it worth staying. Looking forward to spend many more holidays with The rope in future.

The stay was awesome. Staff was very polite. The manager of the hotel Manjeeta jee was very kind full. She is really a one man army. She manages everything. I loved the stay. Good location also. Reasonable prices as well. I will again book the same hotel when i visit again to Darjelling

Had a great time at The Rope By Swifthill Hotels & Resorts. Hotel staffs are so down to earth and friendly. It was like our home away from home. The rooms were properly cleaned & sanitised. The owner of this place made sure that our stay in hotel was comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to have a comfortable and peaceful stay.

I had spent few days in this Resort and I really felt comfortable with all the services out there. All the staff of the Resort are very co operative and helpful. The rooms are very pleasant and the environment is peace and calm.

The room n the hotel staff specially the recipient are very good, cooperative n understanding. They make us feel as a family members. Thanks to the two recipients. The place is good. The rooms are clean and cozy.but a bit too small. We were rather unfortunate to find a rat in our room. But the owner of the place and the receptionist were very helpful and cordial in resolving the issue. The food is decent. It was very cold when we went there (during diwali vacations) ; however heaters were provided at a rate of 400rs per room.that's a bit steep. Overall, a nice place.although I wish that the heaters should be complimentary, considering that it's really cold out there.if you are traveling with kids, please carry many thermals and jackets.
