The Royal Bengal Tiger Cafe

I usually visit on Saturdays when my child goes to the nearby music school. I would sit there for about an hour working on my computer over cups of coffee. However, recently I have observed that the team is incapable of handling customer requests. Last day I sat there for an hour but the waiter didn’t revert to my multiple requests. I don’t blame him as he was the only person handling the crowd despite there were other staff who were just doing nothing. Moreover, the place smells awful and looks unclean. Furthermore, the ac doesn’t seem to work. Requesting the owner to look into it before it’s too late!

It was such an amazing experience to be at this cafe. Stupendous food and beverage options followed by the stylish interior as a tribute to the 'sher' of Bengal, the Royal Bengal Tiger.

The prices are really high compared to the menu. But you can try their Chicken Moghlai it tastes really awesome

Foods are tasty, well garnished, amount is fine. The attendees are very polite and respectful. We ordered chili chicken, parota, white pasta, hot dog, french fries in so called main course or even you can say starter. Well we tasted virgin mojito, green mojito, and one another soft drink something in strawberry flavour; m extremely sorry for not remembering the name folks. Yes all these cost us near about ₹ 990. You can try this cafe.

Located at Tollygunge, Golf club road, this café is a perfect place for spending an awesome time with your friends and families in a wonderful ambience. This tiger themed café serve amazing drinks and food which you can enjoy peacefully. The interior is quite classy and they have both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. The inside vibe is of teh royal bengal tiger, its paintings and informations.

Really loved their Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee which is an imported brand and a new addition to the menu apart from that they also serve various types coffee too. Some of the highly recommended food items from their huge menu are: - Mutton Keema with Pao, Mirchi Gosht with pao, Pork Bafat with pao, Pork vindaloo with pao, Chicken Hotdog, Bengali Fish Chop, Chilli Chicken, Achari Paneer Sandwich, Chicken Sandwich, paratha with mirchi gosht, mutton ghughni, pasta, salad and many more.
The food was prepared really well, and the quality of chicken, pork and egg were fabulous. The portion was also large compare to the price. Do try their signature mocktails and shakes of different flavours which were so refreshing and tasty.

Nice cosy place. Has great ambience. Staff is supportive and cooperative. They got both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements which is very comfy!

Cool place, smart and trendy interiors and good food. Ideal for a quality hangout at an okay okay pocket pinch. It's in an alley just beside M R Bangur Hospital, Tollygunge.

This place is well connected and situated on Golf Club Road, adjacent to Shrutinandan, the musical abode of Pandit Ajoy Chakraborti. This is a joint where U can meet people for business talks or simply chatting. Food is good but not outstanding. Ambience is too good. Facilities like clean washroom and free parking (on the street) are added advantages.

Good Food, specially fish fry and lemon butter rice with grilled fish and boiled vegetables. Restaurant ambience is also excellent. Recommended for breakfast and evening snacks.

Absolutely a good place to hangout with friends. They have a nice ambience. Food is mostly snacks and beverages. Chicken moghlai is a must have.

The overall feel of the place is good. But the food is really amazing. Especially the iconic fish fry and luchi mansho.

The first I would be stating here is the awesome ambience. The interior as well as the outdoor space is pleasent. We opted for the outdoor space to enjoy the natural bliss. The quality of food is great as well. Can visit anytime you want for spending a quality time.

This is the best thing what you can get in any cafe. If you want to give flavour of best luchi and chicken kosha, please come here and taste it.

The ambience is actually great but they didn't have half of the food mentioned in the menu card. Also the food quality and taste are just on the average. The staffs are courteous though. Overall a good experience. Their cool blue is a must try

Food is okay. Service is pathetic, they kept me and my friend unattended for 15 minutes before even we could place order. My friend experienced same on multiple occasions.

It's a nice place to have some snacks or some light food, you can spend some quality time ar this place it has a smoking zone separately so if you are a smoker you can spend your time with your own way.

Very good ambience.beautifully decorated.near Mahanayak Uttam Kumar metro station.a nice place to hangout with family and friends. Must have the chicken mughlai, pasta and mutton ghugni!

Beautifully done up theme restaurant. Food is white good. Fish and chips, shakes are really good. Portion sizes are more than adequate. Service is fantastic and they were really helpful.

Good place to hang out. If you want to have hot or cold beverages at Tollygunge, this is the place. I quite didn't like the food items it serves, it close to pathetic. Every food items bounds to have a hint of Bengali cuisine into it. Behaviour of staff is also good. They come and ask you about the food but I don't really think they took my honest on the face feedback seriously as he just moved on after I was done talking to him.

Nice place with minimal decor. Though it lacks the homely feeling of a cafe, it's quite spacious. They greet you with a glass of water, which is something missing in other cafes. You would find lovely paintings of Bengal Tigers in the cafe, by various famous painters. Food is average, nothing special and so are the drinks, but just like a cafe one is not asked to leave as soon as one is done. We ordered a cold coffee, a masala thumbs up and a iced tea along with a pav bhaji. The bhaji was cooked in tomato sauce which I personally didn't like. The drinks were good. I think it's a good place to hang out.

The place with its great ambience and tasty food is located just 7 minutes walking from tollygunj metro station.

This cafe is located in Lake Gardens around the corner. This place is very near to South City Mall ans residential area. With both inside and outside seating facilities this cafe is indeed worth a visit. The whole theme of the cafe is based on Tigers starting form the wall decor, to the logo and also to the furniture.

Food is good and this place is a must try once.

Watermelon Juice:

Very Refreshing and a summer fave. Sweet and Fruity. These juices are made from real watermelons with no preservatives added. Pressed straight from the fruit as one would say.

Chicken Cutlet:

Good to taste. Well cooked chicken stuffed with herbs and fried.

Chicken Salad:

Tender Chicken chunks marinated in salad dressing with lettuce and other veggies. Ok in taste.

Chicken Sandwich:

Now this be heaven and a MUST RECOMMEND. Perfectly grilled bread mixed with juicy, tender chicken cubes.

Kitkat Shake:

A chocolate lovers paradise. Again a MUST RECOMMEND. Thick chocolate shake that melts in the mouth. Creamy, frothy and stirred to perfect sweetness.

The chocolate pastries are rotten. It was smelling fishy & ofcourse a bitter taste. The burger (combo) was tasteless. The sandwich (garden fresh veg) was fine. I'm a cold coffee addict but didn't like the cold coffee too. The ambience was nice but the food along with the behaviour of the waiter was very disappointing. It's overrated & too pricey for the quality. Avoid.

The decor is nice. It boasts of tiger murals on all walls. It's also a cosy little place, a little bit away from the very busy Tollygunge crossing. It's in the lane adjacent to the new MR Bangur campus

Very nicely decorated place to visit with good food but the options are a little less to choose from, because most of the time all items in the menu are unavailable.

Good food but the staff needs to be but more attentive. Their response comes late. It's a good place for those who do not expect formality while having food

Pleasant meeting with friends at Royal Bengal Tiger Cafe but sad to see that the service is as lax and inflexible as ever at the Royal Bengal Tiger Cafe as ever. We ordered a few things and all foods were just amazing. The have taken good care of hygiene. The walls are decorated with pictures. They have books on RBT. The theme of the restraunt is good. Ambiance is good. It's a celeb place and foods are a bit costly.

Ambience is good.nice and a different concept.taste is good. But they should work on menu, they should increase the varieties of food items.price is high.

The bengali dishes are really good. What I loved was one day I went to the cafe a 11pm and asked for food. They were about to close but they still welcomed us and Served this awesome kosha mangsho and luchi.i will never forget the taste. The rest are fine.you can chat for long hours.
