A different look after renovation. Food as usual is great. The only inconvenience is that the lift is now at level 1 not zero

Went for a buffet dinner. Food is very good. There is some room for improvement in service, though. Haven't availed rooms, so cannot comment on that. Ambiance is very nice!

One of the best places to stay in Salt Lake. Very good hotel with extremely helpful staff.

Would strongly recommend everyone who is planning to visit and stay in Kolkata.

Banquet is too good. Chinese, Kabab are best. But Biryani And chicken chap are average.please fix this

Rooms are excellent and you won't find anything better in that location. I have stayed here at least 5-6 times in the last one year. Service also improved a lot.

The worst experience ever in any hotel. The service is very poor, behaviour is rude.
They don't clean your room during your stay. The timings are very strict, not even half an hour extension is given, for which they have argued to charge for a full day fare.

Most important, the front desk/ reception persons are miserable and lack the skill of hospitality industries in totality.

Further they have no idea of raising GST bills properly and even after intimation, they are rigid to revise the same.

Decent hotel. Didn't stay nights but attended an event at their Banquet. Fantastic parking facility on public road. Rarity in that area.

Lovely Hotel and a great stay.

Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I had a suite, which for one person is too large, but i won't complain. Room was very modern, all amenities.

Hotel premises are very nice, with great pool area.

The Restaurant specializes in sea food was great. Good quality food and good staff/waiters.

The lounge area outside was also very cool, live music in the evenings.

A superb place to stay and chill near to airport. All modern amenities available. Excellent ambience and great service.

We dined at Aura (Ground Floor).
We opted for opted for Buffert.
The food was pleasant and light on the stomach.
The ambience is pleasant.

The Main course was very limited.but good enough.

Have been here a couple of times on occasion of family events in the banquet halls. Food is good, not too spicy and healthy something we loved and admired.

Bar is too small to arrange a group. Peoples are speaks very loudly without caring about fellow customer and management do not really think in this regard.

Good place with a large parking area. The banquet is small but nice. Perfect place for small private parties like birthday or anniversary.

Guests are treated with good food which tests authentic. Please be patient while they make it for you.

Stayed here During Durga Puja 2021. Had a nice experience. The food which came from the AURA was really good, service was decent and the staff were really friendly and nice. Talking about the things which I didn't liked much during the stay: -
- They didn't had any cupboard for keeping clothes in the room. They contained cupboards in the washroom. I personally didn't liked that.
- The card entry system to the room was bit shaky. The card didn't responded to the machine everytime, thus had to be a bit agressive a few times.
- There wasn't any dressing table in the room.

Other than that, everything was good. The breakfast buffet was really nice, the room service was good. Overall, it was good.

The food was just worst. Being 3 star restaurant they server cold stale foods. Doesn't deserve to have 1 star even.

Pathetic is an underword. PleAse never trust them. We went way before to book a banquet and that was free at that point. Their staff named Puja had a thorough discussion with us and told us since ur event is after a month you don’t book now as 16000 rs won’t get refunded. If any bookings come we l let you know. Now after 10 days we go to pay the amount and book as we have already planned n even invited few. But to our utter surprise the hall had been already booked. Puja left the job and there r no records of our meeting on that day. She had never transferred the informations to the next one. The staffs were not at all sorry about what all happened and the harassment we went through. They rather r asking us to come and contact again tomorrow. They don’t even have a manager in the hotel to manage all these problems.please avoid this unprofessional place. There r other better places where u can conduct ur events. Third class

Hotel Sonnet hosted my wedding being the wedding partner. Must agree they have provided the best services by engaging the best wedding event company. The food quality was good and it was absolutely a gastronomical delight. They turned our simple wedding affair into Grandeur. Thank you.

Stay was great. Although I have lost one pair of my airpods of Apple which is white in color. Please get in touch with me for the same for finding it.

Love stay there specially Miss Niharika welcome me and her good and pleasant behave after morning flight was really good and get room very quick as I check in early also I enjoy food so good delicious and fresh. Also clean and big room metro view

THE BEST IN CLASS! I highly recommend this place.
It is rare that you find such hospitality at Hotels around the world these days. I am a traveller and had to visit most international cities and stay in big or small every type of hotels.
I chose, the Sonet for a marriage occasion with limited guests, after 2nd wave of covid was almost over at India in the.month of July 2021.
Being in Indian marriage with less number of hands to support for various errands can be pretty gruesome and I challenged hotel staffs regularly with incidentals at certain odd hours where fulfilment of the request could have been impossible.
To my wonder, most of the times, the hotel staff was able to fulfil mine and guest requests.

I would not say that the rooms have great view outside but they are not bad as well.

FOOD? I would say the chef know the culture of the land very well. We asked for traditional home cooked food during our stay, and the food was unbelievably homely and they understand the culinary special needs.

I would like to thank the management, starting with Mr. Abhishek, Miss Pooja who helped me to choose the menu. I also thank the management for encouraging the staff to go above and beyond to make customers life happy. Every staff I meet from room service person to doorman security very courteous and keep track of little details.

I will always ask friends and colleagues to go for this place for occasion upcoming.

One of the best place in kolkata for buffet lover.quality of the food was excellent and choice of food item was extremely good.

An event with 90 people had problems with ventilation and air conditioning. Hotel staff and event organisers had no communication between them. Clean and comfortable locarion but experience of staff was questionable

Went for breakfast buffet.cost was 425 plus taxes.not much choices.but worth 425.they didnt have bacon.didnt expect cold cuts at 425 but bacon is a basic item for a breakfast buffet

It was a grand experience to be in the Sonnet for my sister's reception. Well maintained, hygienic, Covid Measures taken while allowing visitors to enter. The interior decorations were awesome. The paintings were superb. The hallroom was quite spacious.

I have a lovely stay over here. Very nice hotel. A genuine 4 star hotel. Room is absolutely awesome. It has almost all the facilities in the room, starting from mini fridge, iron with iron table, coffee maker, and all the other important ingredients.
The complementary breakfast is absolutely brilliant. I had an excellent time.

Very poor service with below mediocre buffet spread and food quality. Items on the main course were a complete hodge podge with very limited dishes. Terrible experience. Highly recommend against it

Please improve your test on main course. Put some boneless on briyani it's easy to eat. Quality almost same almost daba type briyani Shop. Also please some extra starter item on veg some people in Kolkata are purely vegetarian. Yeah one last point I prefer gulab jamun it's best all others food items

We booked this place through the Nearbuy app. The app had great offers so the buffet was pocket friendly.
Coming back to the food, the variety of items available was vast but taste was lacking. Most of the items were heavily seasoned and it ruined our palate.
The only savior was the mutton biryani, the taste of which was divine! I was quite full by the time I tasted it, so couldn't have my heartful.
The restaurant is kid friendly and the staffs are also helpful.

Ambience was nice and peaceful. Music was mild. Food was great. But you should asked which items would available from the menu before select items. We had to change our food and drink selection 3 times due to unavailability. Price was on higher end.

One of the best business hotel in Kolkatta. Very well kept rooms, hodpitality at the best. Strongly recommend.

Parking space is available. It is close to city center 1 salt lake. Staff behavior is good. The room is big and washroom is neat and clean. Hotel service is also very good. Swiggy, Zomato and Uber eats food delivery available here. It will take 10 min from Bidhananagar station for you to reach over here. They provide wheelchair for old and handicapped people.

VERY NICE AMBIENCE ; though the hotel is 4 star but gives the look of five star property. Well maintainesd & very helpful staff. The wide array & delicious buffet made me visit with my friends a couple of times. Initially we started with a family get to gether and every one was content & happy.
This place is ideal for hosting for b orporate meetings;
book launches; music release and this could be a greart destination if one intends to get married or throw a reception party.
One would not regret visiting SONNET with family & friends.

One of the pathetic management from the hotel. Staffs misbehave they dont care about customer at all. Mend your ways or you will start losing customers

Despite being a 3 star the hotel boasts of an amazing banquet hall. The food is classy and Indian cuisine is extremely satisfying.

Overall a positive feedback. We had lunch at their restaurant once before which was ok. We also organised an event at their banquet which had really well served food. The staff behaviour was ok for the most part while some were very warm. The aesthetic was nice. It is located in an area where there is ample parking space on the road but not inside the building. The rooms are good as well only the air conditioning is a tad quirky. The rooms also had a lot of noise from the air conditioning and some unknown machinery kind of noise from the adjacent rooms. Which can be improved. There was some communication error among the upper management when we were discussing the various provisions for our event at their banquet which was an inconvenience. So that could be improved.

Even though ambiance was good enough, they charge Rs. 800 per person for the buffet for food that is, simply put, awful! Menu offered very few options and items very very base.simply put there are many much better options for buffets out there.
