A bit over-rated I will say. We had been to this restaurant only once, but in my opinion it has earned much more attention as compared to its quality of food.
From the outside this place just looks like an awesome cafe. Inside the ambience is good or you can say satisfactory.
It was during Durga Puja when we visited this restaurant. Ordered fish steak, mac 'n' cheese, Garlic sauted mushroom, Veg Burger and Tiramisu. Fish steak quality was ok kind of, but the coating was too heavy/thick. This kind of hided the original flavour of the fish steak. Mac 'n' cheese was creamy as expected and no complain about garlic sauted mushroom. Veg burger could have been way better. I was happy that the patty was prepared fresh but it lacked the taste. I felt like the veg burger was not prepared with much seriousness.
Now about the Tiramisu. Major drawback for me was addition of pineapple in it. This is what I disliked about it. The sweetness of Pineapple just made the taste of Turamisu disappear.
Service was ok. It was rush hour and everybody were in a hurry.

I had gotten the pork ribs. Considering the menu price you would expect ribs which isn't doused in salt and getting as lean meat as the dead pig could offer, instead it was all fat. The white sauce pasta was satisfactory though. I probably wouldn't want to visit the place again.

No staffs had arrived for atleast 5-10 mints to take the orders.
And after they arrived the behaviour was worst.

I visited steak and grill on 15.10.23 with my family. Our overall experience is very nice. Food is delicious. Ambience is very good. Service is also good.that is why I have given 5 star rating. But there is some problem in car parking. Difficult to find parking, because free street parking space infront of this restaurant was full of cars of local people most probably.

Overall experience was just pathetic.
Advice: please don't go and waste your time here.

One of the best places for steak. The quality and portion is apt for the price. Meat is fresh and of premium quality. They will take the appropriate time needed to serve a preparation but never too long. If you ask for medium rare, they will serve you soft pink-from-inside full of flavour portion (unlike several other places i have been to that serve fully done irrespective of the doneness ordered). Sides are decent, so are the sauces. They have good options in chicken also. Must try as per me.

Good place for delicious food, but the quantity of Chiken Steak should be more, Mixed grill is too good, soup also tasty, Cheesecake was top of the world.

Fries. Side veggies were served directly from the fridge. Even the stake sause was not hot.

Will not go next time as the food is 2/10.
The owner need to travel to banglore and see the portion and the taste.

I've been there a lot of times. It is simply the best restrau with the best food and environment.

They serve very good steaks and related cuisine. We had a ham steak and a minced mutton steak, along with cocktail sausage and pinacoladas.

Nice and cozy place, but not suitable for a group larger than 4. They have only one 6 seater table and that one is also not comfortable. We order bacon wrapped prawn and spicy chili pork for starter. While pork was nice, bacon wrapped prawn was awesome. We also ordered chicken steak, chicken bbq roast, bhetki steak and chicken lasagne. We did not like the lasagne, rest were delicious. The service was so so. The servers are expected to be little more active. Overall a nice experience with a few hiccups.

I am very disappointed with the service and the food. I had ordered Tikka pizza. I looked good but as I started eating.it was like a Naan.very bad. I am really sorry but I had to write.

Nice and clean cafe. The pork steaks are really good. They serve quite fast. The staff are awesome.

I visited this place with my wife and kid, We had Cheesy Ham and Chicken steak with Mash potato and French fries, The meat was soft and Juicy and made perfectly to suit our taste.

Staff were friendly and courteous they allowed us to feed our home made baby food to out baby. Thank you for all the help and lovely food.

Was not quite happy. They used to give better food. Though the quality of the meat and fish was good the chef could not do justice to the ingredients. Moreover the waiters were horrible refused to co-operate. The Steak and Grill was way better when I last visited around 2018. Their standards have fallen drastically.

Had chicken and mutton steak with a bowl of soup. Was a little over ₹ 1000/-. The portions were enough for each person and the taske was good enough for another visit.

Very good Beef Steak (with option of rare, medium and well done). Bacon, Seafood are also delicious.

This place is a must visit for meat lovers. Ideal for weekend dinners. Pro tip- Come empty stomach. The portions are great. Due to Covid, last orders are taken at 10PM. Live sports screening available.

I have been here before twice and thought the food was excellent. But the recent visit really made me sceptical. The steaks we ordered had very less flavour. Not expected from this place at all.

We ordered a beef pizza, two cold coffees and some dessert. In my opinion, the food is simply the best! The staffs are very friendly too.

The steak is not well done, everything is raw the pork chops was not good it was smelling very bad. I recommend u to visit somewhere else if u want to have steak but not here.

Good place. Good ambience. Food wise it's ok. Would recommend not to order the chelo kabab cause we all know there is only place in kolkata which would satisfy that taste. Otherwise they make a very decent medium steak. Go for it.

Chicken Ala kiev and Cajun Pork are a must try. Also go for the Puzza Bolognese. Very Calm n cozy ambience to spend some quality time with your friends and family.

If you're here for the reason I was, then you have come to the right place. This is one of the many few places that still serve tenderloin steak (beef), at an affordable price I would say. And they do cook it to delicious and chewy. We visited the establishment around 8: 30pm and the place was not almost empty, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The service is very good, polite, the menu has a variety of meat to choose from, you should look it up on Zomato. The décor was not very loud, good for family dinner as well as with friends and colleagues. It's a ground floor restaurant.

Poor service. Only person was available for everything. Kabab was dry. Ambience was not upto the mark. And by *not upto the mark* I mean, not a place where you go and spenc 1500/- for 2 people. The ambience made it look like a low level restaurant (somewhere 400/- max for 2 is justified).

This is the best place to have steak at Saltlake. The ambiance is very cozy with good music. The place was not at all crowded therefore we have recieved a great service and the food came within 15 minutes. Now coming to the dish, the 'Special Tenderloin Steak' was nicely cooked, beef was juicy and was served with rice and veggies. Then 'Steak and Grill Mixed Platter' was very yummy with chicken, chicken sausages, prawns, mutton and mushrooms, it was also served with veggies and french fries. Overall this place and the food is worth the money. It is approximately 1000 for two. If you wanna spend a cozy evening and if you love pork and beef this place is a must visit.

Medium quality steaks. I think the quantity is low and the quality is mediocre. Ambience is quite good and the staff behaviour is nice. They need to make the steaks a little larger.

I had bbq pork chops. Pork quality was quite good. But there was too much bbq sauce applied rather than the actual process of doing Bbq. Preparation was average

It's not that good. The vibe, the food and the service wasn't up to the mark. Everything was okayish. I wasn't satisfied with even a single dish.

Ohh god.what a bad food i had.this was my last visit. I think either chef got change or their standard goes down.

Amazing dishes. My favourite was Chicken Ala- Kiev. The caramel custard has always been my favourite dessert.

Decent, Service is good. You can come on a date or for a casual meeting. There's no rush unlike other restaurants. Food is not so tasty other than fish. Waiters don't give you bill after you finish, they wait for you to ask them bill. Still you have lot of time to speak.

The food was really delicious. And the staff there was very friendly. You can try pork as well as chicken, choice is yours. We had chicken steak, pork bbq pizza and bacon wrapped prawns.

The restaurant has a nice ambience and is generally empty, however, the cold and apathetic behaviour of the staff quickly negates whatever good impression the ambience creates. The food is nothing to write home about and is overpriced, imho.

The steak and grill is located in sector 3, salt lake kolkata. The ambience and the overall experience is good. Food quantity is less but the price is more.

Was disappointed with the food quality. Not really sure whether we chose it wrong. Rest ambience and location is fine.

Place is tastefully done but staff lacks warmth. Very cold service. Portions are small and food mediocre. Chicken steak was not impressive and mashed potatoes were very basic. French fries pathetic. Sizzler was average. Didn't live upto the expectations. I drove far to go there and paid prices which deserve a better experience so kinda disappointed.

Situated in salt lake sector 3, as the name suggests it's mainly steak restaurant. We had fried Mushroom and pork ribs in the starter, ham steak, charcoal steak (veg), chicken sizzler in the main course and cheesecake for the desert. The steaks were cooked perfectly and was delicious and quantity was also good. The service is also pretty good.

Menu is very restricted. Preparation is decent. Pricing is affordable. Great place to watch the game.

Sorry about not posting a photo of the steak (didn't think to click one at the time), but it was nice and tender. The apple pie you see here, on the other hand, was the kind I don't like. The five stars are for the steak.

Horrible experience all four of us ended up with severe stomach upset! Please Avoid.

Had two really great meals here last year. Hence asked my sister and brother in law who are big fans of Steaks here and we came here to eat dinner tonight.

Huge decline in quality of food. The meat was asked to be cooked Medium and it was bloody and vegetables had a smell. Worse we ended up having severe stomach upset all four us by the time we came back home.

This is a definite risk. Management should take notice and take care of hygiene first and quality of food next.

Fantastic spread and competitive pricing. This chilli pork is really good and a personal favorite. Large portions, good food and a comprehensive menu makes it a preferred location!

This is one of the best places to have Continental food. The quality of food is great, do give it a try. Ita is near to koshe kasha and balle dhaba.

Was never disappointed with the quality but today's order was not satisfactory. Order steak (special) n lamb meatball pizza. Steak was dry n overdone (chewy) n the pizza had no seasoning. Cheers.

Nice place for continental food, delicious food, good young vibe in the ambience, ham and cheese steak was the best, would definitely come back here.

A nice place to get together with friends and family in lunch or dinner table. One the best place to enjoy continental foods. Ambiance is very nice and quite. Capacity is moderate but mostly uncrowded. Food quality is very good and healthy preparation. Hospitality is good and price is pocket friendly.
