Tilottoma Tourism Resort earlier Tilabari Tourist Complex

This place is awesome for staying with your family or friends, maintain by the staff and service is satisfactory, wonderful place to enjoy for kids. But Folks food is not at all recommended, I stayed in various West Bengal Govt Tourist Bungalows, I found this is worst in terms of food, our evening snacks was horrible and it drives me to return our Chinese dinner into a regular paratha and omlet. My family struggles to have a proper dinner, we were spending our vacation.

We (2 families with kids) just spent 2 days here and I must say I am very much positively surprised. Excellent ambience, big clean rooms, exceptional service. Government service at par with 5 star hotels. Special mention to Mr Debasish Sarkar, Manager and Yuvraj Pradhan, Jr Assistant for running the show seamlessly and taking so good care of the guests.

Very nice place with nice food. Frankly speaking didn’t expect this much from a govt affiliated property.

Beautiful complex with lush green lawns and nice spacious rooms. The staff was very cooperative and went out of the way to cook food for me around my white flower and corn flower allergies.

Beautiful would not be enough to describe the resort. The entire place is very clean and eye pleasing.

As usual, being a Government property, its having a lovely location, huge rooms and being a new property do have a modern fit out.
In so far, service is concerned, 80% of the Menu Card, isn't available, being understaffed, " the service" is under severe stress.

A wonderful experience. The ambiance in the room 204 was excellent. The staff at Reception, Dining and other units were very good and extended their ad libitum service whenever sought. The room service, cleaning and changing of linens and towels were also very good. The overall environment and beauty of the campus are really excellent.

We didn't stay in the resort, just visited the museum. But the wildlife museum was great, with interactive screens, sculptures, information cards, exhibition of leaves and seeds, and also some fun activities for children to enjoy. Overall the museum is very underrated and should be much more popular.

It is the best resort in doors. Can't express how much i love this. Who ever will come to this place will be attracted so much that he/she will not want to go back.

From first impression, good and hygienic food. Stuffs are cordial. Want to explore more next time.

Very beautiful place, on the edge of the Gorumara NP and on the highway. Inside the property there is lots of trees and vegetation. Rooms are nice and well maintained. The manager will make sure your every need is taken care of. This property is much better than dhupjhora or Batabari

They have every room with a view. Amazing facilities, very nice staff. The best part about the place was the cleanliness and greenery. One of the best places under budget.
Also please pre-book momos at their restaurant. Its a must try

Beautiful location, very well maintained property, excellent service, staff are very courteous and helpful. Food is very tasty and authentic, the local Borali fish dish and chicken steamed momo were absolutely delicious.
Specially want to mention manager Ms Gouri Ghosh, whose attention to every detail, warmth and hospitality was heartwarming. She is like a brand ambassador for WBTDC and Dooars, really appreciate her passion and professionalism.

Excellent place.very spacious rooms. People who loves nature and peaceful accommodation.strongly suggesting this property. Almost like 5 star graded rooms and villas.most importantly close to nature.childrens also will feel comfortable and happy.

Room is too good. Service is excellent. The staffs are too cordial. They will be there everytime in any circumstances. Loved this place.

A very well maintained and beautiful property amidst the nature, greenery all around and you hear birds chirping whole day. They have cottages and blocks as well. All of them have spacious and clean rooms and attached balcony. Their inhouse restaurant serves good food and have variety of menu. Staffs are helpful and well behaved. A must visit place for a short stay with family.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how beautifully the property is maintained inspite of being a government concern. The rooms are so spacious, spotlessly clean, fresh and tastefuly furnished. The surroundings are quite charming! Loved it!

Wonderful, exotic resort with excellent hospitality of the entire team. We went through WBTDCL in a conducted Duars trip from 4th March till 10th March & last destination was Batabari where we lodged in Tilottoma Property of West Bengal tourism. The overall ambiance is just excellent & the rooms are truly luxurious with all amenities. But there is no Wifi connection in the rooms & my nephew had to carry his laptop to the cafeteria or reception to do his online B- Arch class. Leaving aside non-availability of Wifi conbection, overall experience was just mind blowing.

I must say the wonderful place in North Bengal. It is as good as staying at home with full comfort away from home. Service is excellent. Keep it up.

Firstly I would thank the Government for making this place an excellent place to stay. The facilities are equivalent to a 3-star hotel. The people are very nice and polite. All the rooms are view rooms. Lot of parking space. The gateman keeps a note of incoming and outgoing cars. There is a bicycle to move around in the campus. Come here with a group of people and stay here for 2-3 days and have a great time.mukti river is 10 min drive from here.

Very well decorated and maintained beautiful cottages with all the modern facilities including free Wi-Fi. They provide bicycle to the tourists for roaming around the facility. Everyone will love to see and and enjoy the vaccination with the family. For roaming around to see and enjoy the vaccination during the rainy day they provide a colourful and large size umbrella too! Wheel chair is provided for the physically challenged tourists. Indoor games facilities are available. Thanks to the authority for providing all the modern needful facilities to satisfy the tourists! This resort includes a must see Nature & Wildlife Museum for the nature lovers, common people of all age groups and definitely for the kids. When you will see the museum thoroughly you will discover the new world of nature and definitely will fall in love with nature arround us!

Service & behaviour of the staffs are very helpful and cooperative.there is a big chees board where you can play. Evening snacks is better than launch & dinner.

One of the very few places which we could recomend as cosy and homely. The cottages are no less than any 5 star hotel arrangements (o viously some of the 5 star ammenities might be missing like swimming pool etc.) But this is not a comparison.
The location is superb, the cottages are exceptionally well maintained and with all best in class fittings and upkeep.
The staff are extremely courteous and friendly. The food is equally great.
But the icing is the rates and prices, which I believe is unbeatable.
Suggest to make this your base while travelling to Lataguri or Dooars area during your holidays.

It was an excellent experience staying there. First of all the ambience, decor and space inside this complex is very good. Secondly, very friendly nature of all the staffs amazed us. Last but not the least is its location which is very near to Gorumara national park, murti river and chapramari national park.

Awesome place, excellent rooms, well maintained. The restaurant serves home like food. They have a museum too. Overall the place us worth visiting.

We had a good stay here last week. Few thingsI want them to do is
Firstly, I want them to make their door locks a bit more tourist friendly.
Secondly, they must add fruits to their complimentary breakfast ;
Thirdly, window locks must be taken care of
Food was good specially the tandoor ones
One must try it.

Till now this one is the best among any other accomodation I have availed. Should have given 7 stars if options were available. Best in service, best in homely atmosphere and superb quality food, that too, very economical, Just WOW. Excellent rooms with all modern amenities, total greenery spread across huge area and moreover great hygiene is maintained. Hats off to Ms. Gouri Ghosh and her team. THEY HAVE FULFILLED EACH AND EVERY CAPRICE OF FOOD & SERVICE I HAVE DEMANDED. Just fall in love with the West Bengal Tourism Ministry for turning totally upside down the usual thoughts about government facilities. "WHENEVER IN DOOARS, WILL ALWAYS VISIT. " Thanks.

Very spacious, well spread out and planned resort. Rooms are also very spacious with good lighting, furnitures and proper ventilation. Rooms are very reasonable for the service and luxury the property provides. Food served is lips smacking. Thumbs up to the WB tourism for maintaining such high standards.

One of the best places I have stayed. Kudos to WBTDC for keeping the standards so high. Food cost is also reasonable across all WBTDC resorts. My only suggestion, food quality could have been better.

TILABARI TOURIST COMPLEX: Walking distance to everything, Beautiful rooms, great ambiance, Service was Terrific and Room was LIKE 5 Star. The staff at the TILABARI in LATAGURI were fantastic. Great attitude. Helpful, and always available. Specially MISS. GOURI GHOSH, MANAGER, Managed like an Absolute Kinship, I am speechless to explain her, just go & feel.
Only one wounds, Mr. Gopal Rawat, Front Desk staff is not fit to deal customers.

We found this place to be excellent to stay. The resort is having natural trees and felt awesome during rain. Reception behaved little weird but service staffs were awesome. Food was also excellent, we had it when we stayed there even when we stayed outside. Rooms were sufficiently distantly located and felt private. Resort was wonderfully organized and beautifully landscaped. They even have a great museum which is world class. We will return there for longer stay.

Excellent place for a couple of days' hang out. Experience a deluxe stay in serenity and nature. This facility has large cottages or deluxe rooms with modern toilets, aircon, tea maker. Provides enough toiletries. Has well maintained lawn, garden, landscape and parking. Rooms are very clean. Food is mainly Bengali but some other items also available. Tastes OK. Service and staff behaviour is really good. Gorumara, Murti, Chapramari, Jhalong, Samsing and many other tourists places are very near and can be visited staying here including jungle safari. Ideal for kids and all ages. Amazing offering for a Govt run facility. No less than a chain hotel.

Very well maintained and excellent property with fantastic service and food. Added attraction are an informative museum, bycycles, massive chessboard and carrom board.
Would do well if hammocks are provided.

Tilabari west bengal tourism resort was just awesome. The staff behaviour was impressive.
The manager, Miss Gouri Ghosh has very well managed the resort and also actted very kindly to us. I hope the tilabari resort could keep their nice Service and the same helpfullness.

This is a very well maintained hotel. The staff keep the premises clean all the time, food is very good. The gardens are designed in a appealing way. Helpful and polite staff as well as Manager. The Gorumara tkt counter is mins away. Highly recommended.

One of the best place to stay in north bengal. Very clean and big rooms. Very helpful and supportive staff. Plus the quality of food is good. The best part of this resort is it's landscape. I would recommend all the nature lovers and travel enthusiast to book in this resort. It's a resort in true sense. Value for money.

Nice secluded place, a very good place for a day out of your busy schedule. The taste of the food is very homely, only the place to eat is a little far from the main place. The chirping of birds fills the mind in the still atmosphere of the morning.
I had 12 people, four small children, the play area was very clean for them and we were in 102,103,104 & 105 rooms, the bed was clean, the room service was Very good. Every staff and manager is user friendly.

We stayed in the property just 3 days back as a package with Hollong and were provided Cottages which can any time compete with any star rated private resort. The campus is large with well maintained gardens and fields. The view of tea gardens from balconies is quite mesmerizing. The campus has a nature education centre which is worthy of a day long visit. All the staffs and specially the manager in charge is very much helpful with unparalleled hospitalty. We went with our child who could not bear the stranous travel regime and vomitted in the room which was immediately cleaned on reqest. We also requested for a particulat TV channel which was provided within minutes. We felt very safe there with our family due to the able handling of situations by the manager madam. The resort also has playing facilities such as cricket, badminton, carrom, cycling etc. Last but not the least is it's position which is very near to Murti, Gorumara, Chapramari and hence all those safaris can be enjoyed from there. We will again visit there for sure. But, we were heart broken on one occasion when we learnt that they don't accent tips as for one of the rarest of the times I really wished to give a tip for such
a warm and homely service with professioal handling. Thank you.
