The Hotel is charge is high rather than its quality. As it is near to NJP station it is charging high. In the same amount you will get better hotels in Siliguri
Location wise Tirupati Lodge is best if you are at NJP. This is very near.approx 300 mtr from NJP rail station parking lot. This is a walking distance. But if you are carrying luggage and accompanying elders or children then you must take the services of totos, rickshaws, which can be found almost whole day and night.
Hello and good morning Mr. Vivek Choudhary, This is Sharmistha Mitra! Sengupta here. As per our conversation over phone on yesterday (15th April) and the reply you posted, I am quite satisfied. As you have said that your hotel took strong decisions regarding your staff and you promised to uplift your services and the look into the hygiene and cleanliness, I sincerely believe that your hotel will become one of the finest hotels in Njp. Looking forward to stay in your hotel in future whenever I give a halt before starting off for the hills. And I surely refer it to my friends and relatives who will be visiting Njp in future. Steps taken by you really demand a huge applause. Thank you. With warm wishes and regards, Sharmistha Mitra Sengupta.
Very close to the station. You can easily walk down to the place. If you just want to stay for a night before you set out for other places, you can stay there.
However, rooms are very small. Toilets are proportionally small. They don't even give you bottled water.
Worst experience. Room Service wasn't good. Room was dirty. Perfect hotel room for couples, not for family. They stole our Cat's milk because we told them to boil the milk. I'd suggest for anyone to not go there if you're with your family. They even charged us for parking. Any hotel shouldn't charge their guests for parking.
The lodge is ok for one night stay. Average rooms, bathroom fittings were quite old. No food available, you have to go outside for eating. Since the lodge is too close to the NJP station, noise of trains, announcements will be there all day and night. Outside food is allowed inside the room.
It is a budget lodge near the NJP station. It is at a stone throw distance from the station. It has in-house restaurant. One can also spend few hours in this hotel if he has late hours train but need to book a room
Very poor arrangements. Provides Bad quality mattress. At time of booking they didn't say anything but in case of tripple share room they have provided double bed and single mattress which is very poor quality
1 min walk from njp station.decent rooms.clean but expect sound of trains all night.its bearable though.best option if you are arriving late or your train is at night and you want hotel beside station.if you are arriving via shatabdi.lot of people from that train will check in this hotel.so will b a bit of line for check-in.sit patiently for 10 minutes.they will clearthe que fast.
A nice hotel near NJP railway station for a night stay. The rooms are well maintained and good for just a night stay, Good Service and maybe the best in this locality.
Don't go with the wrong reviews. Mr. Vivek is so kind & one stop solution for all of your memorable stay.best hotel in NJP station area. Staffs are very helpful. Go for this property.
Best hotel near njp railway station I ever came across. It was wonderful stay in Tirupati. Overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend this hotel to every couple and families:). You wont regret, just be there:).
It is a very good hotel to stay. Especially rooms and wash rooms were very neat & clean. All the staff members of hotel are very nice and cooperative. We are enjoyed the food & staying at Tirupati Lodge pvt Ltd just 1 mint walkeable distance from njp railway station.
Horrible hotel.the commod was not flushed, there were paan stains on the wash basin, the bathroom was too small, and at 8: 15 am i had to wait 15 minutes for a staff to arrive at the reception so that i could check out.then there printer was out of order and i had to wait another half an hour and finally had to fix the printer myself.rooms were stinky.flush was leaky.overall i paid double of what the hotel deserved
Worst place. It is running by some Gunda. They do not allow you to check in by online price. They charge dubble amount than the online price. Further my friend who stayed in the hotel was forced to pay dubble amount comparing to the his online booking. He booked it before check in. While he was checking out, the hotel owner forced him to pay dubble amount. They gathered some Gunda and forced him to pay the amount. Please do not enter here
Ok hotel for siliguri. The biggest advantage and disadvantage is proximity to the railway station. Advantage because it's close by disadvantage if you have more luggage, you will have to carry it all the way of get fleeced by the auto rikshaw fellows who will charge you a 100 rupees just for those few meters. The hotel otherwise is okay and staff was polite and responsive. Room service is there for dinner. There are small eateries nearby for breakfast, lunches and quickbites. However, I highly recommend this hotel because it's close to the station and more hygienic and safer than other nearby hotels.
No proper restaurant in hotel or outside area. Not recommended for family with kids. Washroom flush was not working, tv didn't work, shabby area n locality
The only positive point with this is it's near to the NJP railway station.
Room and washroom are very small, just enough to accommodate a bed and a table. Not that clean. Lift this there as quite other hotels doesn't have one.
Cleanliness 2/5 Room size - 1/5 Location - 5/5 (with respect to distance from station) Staff behaviour - 4/5
The normal rooms r not so good, tidy or spacious, rent Rs. 2000/- day.bt the newly prepared premium rooms r quite nice. Only four such rooms are available. Rent Rs. 2500/- day.not so sure bt think rent do varies for AC and Non AC bookings.
We were tricked by the "exceptional" rating by OYO. Probably a self made rating that does not reflect the reality. 1-thr access of this hotel is about 300 m from the Siliguri new train station, but it's a diet road, very dimly lit, and we were followed all the way by a funny looking man who wanted us to buy a room from him. 2-the room was not at all as or the pictures. We booked a big bed, and got a twin bedroom 3-dirt dirt dirt. As you can see on the pictures, the bathroom especially is really dodgy, with first marks everywhere. 4-there is a shrine in the hotel, so there are gongs early and late at night. There are a few good points however: we slept quite soundly, although we doubted about the bed cleanliness, but our night was ok. The staff is friendly, and they can send breakfast in the room. It was a super simple breakfast with toasted eggs and chai.but it was eatable They helped us to book a car to the airport, at a cost of 700 rps, and the car was clean, the driver professional. So not the kind of hotel we want to stay again, but it's not all negative. In our case, it was the nearest hotel near the station.
