Best place. Since 2017 I am going through the same metro station having same happy' experience all the time.

Known as Mahanayak uttam kumar station.
If you come outside, at the right hand have to go more or less 1 min, you will get auto for somherbazar, behala chowrasta, garia.as always left side you can take auto and bus for jadavpur and so on

Station is clean & well maintained.althouth beware of frauds at the entrance cause some homeless people could ask u to call someone or may want ur phone for sometime. So be cautious.

Very famous metro railway station once was the terminating station on the southern stretch now metro railway services have extended beyond this point usually a busy area but famous for bengali cinema studios

Lots of nice stall outside the metro.all teenager and youngstars spend lots of hours outside the station as chai addda and get together.joba di cha er dukan is the best.anyone can definitely enjoy a quality time here those looking for chai par adda is good place

Metro under Indian Railways is doing commendable job compared to other Metro operations under JV companies. Tollygunge is an important station for tollygunge and nearby areas like jadavpur behala etc. Can you ever think of travelling from Esplanade to Tollygunge within 15 min without Metro. In the same campus there's a Indian Railways Passenger Reservation Counter also.

One of the favourite hangout zones in our college days. The place is bustling with variety of food stalls and customers waiting to be served.

Nice place. I found lots of Juice Shops outside metro and enjoyed a lot with my family. It was a wonderful day there.

This area has plenty of space. A temporary bus stand used to operate from here when Majherhat bridge had collapsed. There are a few stores in place but metro authorities could use more space to give rent to other stores. That way the area would be bustling and lighted up as well in night.

It's a quite good platform. Pretty clean, but conditioning is not available. You will find the metro for both the Kavi Subhas (new garia) as well as the Dakshineswar (nowapara). Metro is one of the fastest, cheapest and safest ways to travel across Kolkata. All Kolkata metros are fully air-conditioned. In future, this North- South metro line will be connected to the East- West metro line at Esplanade station.

Good, Metro station, and you can also do gossips with your friends outside station, and many stores are available like wow momo, normal pan shops etc. Overall good place

Station is good and the station premises is clean.out side of the station area is best for Kolkata's street food

A very Old and centrally located station for South Kolkata people. Recently they had added lift for the elders. After getting down at station you can get auto rickshaw for Behala, Haridevpur, muchipara, Ranikuthi, Garia, keorapukur bazar, Jadavpur and so many connecting area

One of the prominent location in the city. Infact before extension of metro this was last station. Also can get cab, bus other public transport to travel anywhere or any part of the city.
