A connecting railway station with Rabindra Sarovar Metro station is situated near Tollygunge area.

It is adjacent to Rabindra sarobar metro station Rabindra sarobar stadium and walking distance from kalighat temple also

Station infrastructure is not so good,
Station location is too high from normal ground level, but there have no escalator or lift, if you want to go no2 platform from no1, you have 2 cross rail track, which one is most dengerous for aged people, yet there have 1 over bridge, but it's distance is too far from proper location,
So if you want to go somewhere from this station plz come before 15mnts of your train time.

Tollygunge railway station is beside Rabindra Sarovar lake and a good one station. It's also the meeting point of railway and kolkata metro.

Tollygunge Railway Station is a busy station in Kolkata with basic facilities. The toilets are dirty and the overhead bridge is far away. The station is well-connected to other parts of the city by road and metro.

Platform number 01 & 02 not convenient. Most of the people use railway track to reach from platform number 01 to 02. Not convenient railway station. Worst Railway station in sealdha budge budge section.

Tollygunge railway station is very important. It's just beside RABINDRA SOROBAR METRO STATION. Office goer, students avail both the station as per their requirement. Particularly resident from Budge Budge to Mazerhat find it very easy to communicate.

But, the overbridge which connects platform of the railway station is not worth. People have to walk down from one end to other to avail up train towards Lake gardens. Railway authority to consider the students, senior citizens. To walk so far is troubling everyone. Most of the passengers cross the rail lines which is prohibited and illegal. Either the up platform must have separate ticket counter and entry gate. Availability of place will not be problem. Railway Authority should look into for the passengers. Customer satisfaction should be the motto.

Rail Station, Train from Sealdah to Budge Budge and some Budge Budge - Naihati local trains are available on scheduled time and some trains of other routes like Barasat local and Hasnabad galloping local are also available on this route for less number.
