Ultra Bar

Absolutely horrible service, the place is run by careless staff and management doesn't care. No food no drinks. I was refused service and was asked to leave with no reason given

Terrible terrible terrible service. The employees don't give a flying fudge about customers.

This is the first time happened with me.actually I went for coffee at nearby shop & as per the AAI rule I can access all the lounge facility anywhere in airport.but when I sat nearby bench the shop staff made objection & told me not to sit there.the behaviour of the staff also very rude at all. I want to request the authority to focus this type issue for the hassle free service in future as expected before.

Really the ULTRA BAR is hell.

Ultra Expensive should be the name but what else can someone who needs a quick pint of beer or two can do? They have very limited beers and are priced 5 times as much as their MRP. You can ask them for specials but don't expect food from a live kitchen, it's heated in the microwave & given. I had Chicken Tikka starter with Kingfisher Ultra.

The seating area behind the bar is nice and maybe you can do some work or just kill time.

Service staff is in their own world most of the time.

Very nice place to pass time while waiting for next departure though unfortunately I left my book in the bar on 24.08.22,5: 25pm. If possible I would expect to get it back as I have my flight from Calcutta to Bagdogra on 26.08.22 in the morning. So it would be a really great and memorable gesture if I am able to collect the book from the bar counter on the same day.
It is my earnest request to you to keep the book in your safe hands.

The place is hot & humid and staff callous.
Solo travellers are not allowed to sit near the window.

The staff is often busy chatting amongst themselves.

But not too many services in this old small-town are at par with ROW.

I wish there was a zero rating.the most pathetic bar I have ever been to in my life. RUDE waiters.beer not chilled.and on top it is expensive.
They behave as if they are distributing free drinks.

HORRIBLE!

This is a bar manned by the most inefficient and boorish staff anywhere in the country. It's that municipality kind of attitude. Seriously, what are they even doing there?

Good place for quick refreshers/pints, friendly staffs with reasonable small platters to offer for the travellers, but the domestic booze section needs improvement in stock (nothing in domestic beers were available), overall okaish for a quickie, +1* for keeping the sports on

Useless waiters behave as they are doing favor on customers. No etiquettes and behavior worst than road side dhaba servants.

Good to have fun time at this place. Come alone or with friends. Also you can sit here to spend leisure time alone to refresh your mood. Beautiful spectacles, nice ambience will definately change your mind. A lot of drink option you could have here. A few Imported brand scotch, whisky vodka you can taste here. Wine and chmpaign collection are good. But beer line up is usual. Most important note, always remember to mantain drink responsibility. Do not spoile your journey.

This bar is inside security area, so they sort of have captive customers. Good thing is they have a fairly good range of alcoholic drinks including beer. Being inside the security area drinks are quite expensive, for eg a pint of Heineken Beer costs Rs500/-. Service is not very attentive. If you are sitting on the counter you will still need to call the attendant few times to get his attention. Most of the staff are busy talking amongst themselves regarding their own careers, postings, friends etc, and customers are left to struggle to get their attention. Chances are when you reach the counter they will neither greet you nor offer you the menu card. Anyway if you are desparate for a drink you will demand it. If you don't insist on menu they will not ask you for peanuts or snacks with the drinks but will go back to their own conversation. So if you are desparate for a bite you again ask for it. Next time I will try the other bar - Irish Bar.
