Ursa Garden

I did not book this place due to pretty bad experience even before booking the place. During our first visit for enquiry, the caretaker showed us the place and committed a certain amount for the entire place including banquet, AC and lawn. He even told us we can use our own caterer for the event. We were pleased as it was a small event of around 150 ppl for baby shower and the rate quoted was reasonable. After a week we took our parents to show the place and finalize the date. This time we met the actual owner and he completely took a u-turn. He said the actual rates are higher and that doesn't include AC! They will provide only a part of the banquet at the earlier commited rate since no.of people is very less! We cannot even bring our own caterer as confirmed initially! The owner apologized for the earlier miscommunication and he was not even sure which of his employees communicated with us last time. We also didn't like his comment that this place will be out of budget for us since it's a small event. He should understand that budget is not the issue but miscommunication is! How come the earlier version is totally different! We liked the place but not the people running it!

I am going to share my honest review for this banquet, so that atleast others can decide before booking Ursa garden for their events.

Pros: Nicely decorated, you don't need to take any headche, they will arrange everything for decoration, Rooms are well maintained, Location is good, Perfect place for 250-300 pax.

Cons:
Worst behaviour by the stuff, so my marriage held on 26th Jan, and the timing was odd, late night 1: 30 am. I came to book this banquet hall almost 1 year prior. The manager of this hall Mr Ujjwal knew that logno for that date was very late, but trust me he didnt informed us about any of the restrictions which can be there in late night marriage. On the day of marriage in the morning Mr Ujjwal called us and informed that the main door will be closed by 1: 00 am, And it will be opened by next 6: 00 am in the morning, it was created a lot of problems for us.
In the whole 1 yr duration he didn't utter a word about this restrictions, also the behaviour of the stuff was worst part. There was lots of drama happened when we asked them to open the door. They should have informed earlier if there was such kind of restrictions involved. We hired Black diamond catering for that day, initially they were okay to serve food to the family member after the marriage ends. Later I got to know from them, they had to leave because of the chaos the Ursa garden people had created on that night.

It is really beautiful. This is my second time visit to Ursha Garden. The decoration is very elegant and space is quite adequate. Only negetive thing of the banquet is its plug point.

Good place for party of any kind eg, marriage, rice ceremony, birthday etc. Located in a lane not far to Jessore Road. Parking is not an issue in the evening. At least 15 cars may be parked in front of the gare, in the opposite footpath.
Building is neat and clean with clean washrooms. Catering is also available there.

Beautiful place for hosting parties. I loved it.he parking area.warm decor and great food.

Nice community hall. Enough space for a regular ceremony. Not sufficient if you have a long list of invitees. Yet managable with good space. Washroom space needs to be improved.

Good place for wedding and other occasions. Spacious and plentiful area for bigger occasions

Located on the next alley after ILS hospital Nagerbazzar, the road beside is broad enough to park a luxury bus carrying groom/bride relatives.
There's an open lawn which is usually used for the main course, juice counter, phucka, pan stall etc. There are rooms available for makeup, tatwa and gift accommodation, groom's sitting area. Plenty of space to put up a selfie zone. It can easily accommodate 250-300 people.

A Very Good Open Garden Place Well Suited For Any Type of Ceremony. It Has A Open Area & A Closed Area Enclosed By Glass Side By Side. Definitely Recommend.

Just visited to book. Qualities of facilities can be judged later. On the face of it, entire ceremony house looked good.

I am very disappointed with the service. My cousin wedding was arranged there and everything was beautiful and almost perfect. When it was time for the bride to go back home there were no electricity nor emergency service. It was devastating. We booked for 2days

Ujjal Dey is a misbehaved person. Does not have basic etiquette to talk to people. He shows up bad behavior and talks to customers rudely. Don’t know why he shows up so impolite behavior.just bcoz the banquet hall is decent. No one will do business with such a rude person. He has no art of negotiation as well.

Very nice n specious AC hall with a wide Lawan, wide approach road at a beautiful location well connected

Very much spacious and comfortable. Great for organising parties.quite good for celebrating with 350+ guest. 20mins walking distance from nagerbazar.right beside Christ Church school.

Overall Good. Very spacious and well organised.
Adequate parking space in nearby road.
But location is not good enough.

The hall and the garden, both are specious for near about 150-200 people. The front gate is also not congested so that guests can easily come and park their cars. Overall a good hall for any occasion.

Ursa garden is very beautiful and Spacious Banquet Hall for celebrating various occations and ceremonies.
To reach there come to Nagerbazar Dumdum (transport is easily available)
From Nagerbazar more it is a walking distance of maximun 5-10min to reach Ursa garden.

Place crunch if specially it rains outside.
Tap in attached bathroom should be repired.thin water flow.

The place is indeed perfect for reception.
Owner and stuff are also well behaved and they do co-operate with every odds and even.

But there one thing which needs to be bit modified.
Do talk about A. C charges while BOOKING.

I have experienced it myself.

A very good open garden place well suited for any type of ceremony. It has a open area and a closed area enclosed by glass side by side. Washrooms are well maintained and lots of space is there for a buffet system to operate. Can easily fit in a occasion with 200+ people being invited.

A wide spacious open ground adjacent to a well decorated spacious banquet hall with very neat & clean wash room attached.

Nice place for events unless it rains.
They wont cover the open space.

Fully AC Hall + 2 Rooms & 4 Bathrooms.
A separate big kitchen.

There is no garden. They have a Uthon (approx 2000+ Sqf.) with tiles and green plastic mats.

Adequate roadside parking.
Located beside Christ Church Girls High School.
