I order 2 momo today I'm charged 390/-. I asking for the fare breakup they did not said anything about it. Worst Resturant ever be made. Please walk 2 min and go to the dada boudi biriyani.

This family-centric restaurant caters for large scale events with a menu from around the world. V Cafe, Barrackpore, This place is just Infront of barrackpore railway station. The ambience is really congested and kind of suffocating. Service is not good as well.

It is a very old restaurant in barrackpore.
Like one of the first restaurants in barrackpore.
Hence don't expect the ambience to be fancy and all.
But the food is good quality, reasonable price.and they have a bar also.

Behaviour is very friendly but food quality is like road side with extra charge. Name with family resturant but it's bar cum resturant. Atmosphere is well enough for a bar cum resturant.

Be aware.they are Total Scammers!

We asked for cold drinks for 6 of us. "Fanta" would be better.
They said they don't have fanta, but they have "mazaa. ".

We said mazaa would be fine.

So they took small glasses and put mazaa in it and served it to us.

When we saw the bill, it blew our minds. They charged us₹100 per glass of mazaa which costs₹15 outside.

Such a scam they are running.

The place might look a bit shabby but it has got the charm that old places have with old bengali songs playing in the background. My recent visit was a success.
The food was unexpectedly delectable and this restaurant will be on my list to visit again.
We ordered:
Keema Naan and Kadai chicken both of which were an absolute treat. With flavours melting and reminding the taste of scrumptious food of Punjabi Dhabas! Truly amazing imo.
The price was not high at all compared to the food.
I would recommend visiting this place and try these two dishes along with their other dishes because they serve amazing food.

Our bill was 690 INR inclusive gst. We also ordered a mocktail which wasn't up to the mark but the food was to die for!

Restaurant take more time to serve food. Otherwise it's a nice place. Drinks also available here.

The food and service were awesome, if you are looking for good food it's you know where to visit.

Dreadful service - the wait staff acted like they were bothered by everything we were doing, like, they are doing us a huge favor by waiting on us. They are so inconsiderate, and irresponsible that they opened the bill folder right in front of us to see if we tipped them or not. That being said, it is rather understandable, because they do not get any patrons to tip them, so they are frustrated.
The food is okay at best. Restaurants are abundant within 2 minutes walk that serve way, way better food at a much more affordable price.
Anyways it looked like it was on the verge of bankruptcy, so 0 out of 5, would not recommend it.

Me and my friend came.had a great experience.the food quality was also good we ordered mix hakka noodles and wine.

Pathatic staff service and extreme rude behaviour. There was not water supply at washroom asked staff for water to wash My hands he denied.

Worst experience, tastes pathetic as if i was eating a boiled and frozen dish, will not recommend to anyone there was a time when V cafe had its name no wonder why now no one talks about it, Sona is far better hands down.

Overall good taste and service. However the taste could have been better. Ambience was good though.

Staff is good. It's a good restaurant with budget price. In 900 I did starter and lunch with my two other friends. Food is tasty. Try murgh tangri masala. That's the best dish.

An old place but still delivers good on food quality. There are little options in drinks though.

I enjoyed coffee and snacks in cozy ambience although it is situated at a very noisy and busy area near barrackpore rly station.

Food is quite good. Quantity wise it is sufficient. But ambience is not so good and a little claustrophobic. We ordered mutton biryani. Biryani taste was good.

First no proper guesture. Not responding properly.pricing is higher to the dishes they provide. For everything its costlier. Not much cooling. Bad experience with the service. They don't serve properly.

What I say about v cafe.it's the taste of heaven. Must try Hakka mixed noodle mixed fried rice and garlic fish

Almost 10 years ago I use to visit this restaurant very often, I remember it very well when ever I use to come I use to order that hara bhara kurkura chicken, it was one of my favourites (if anyone has pictures of it do post it want to see it once again) I wish to visit it soon

Pretty nice restaurant. Easy to get to, price is on the higher side, but still affordable; specially keeping in mind the quality of the food. And yes, the chicken biriyani here is amazing. I've been to arsalan and aminia and they don't serve biriyani this good.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!
We ordered biriyani, what we got was LITERALLY, chicken chap with fried rice. Cost Rs. 280, for fried rice? We ordered via parcel and they stabbed us in the back.

What kind of godforsaken shop serves this kind of LIE?

This was my favourite restaurant earlier because of its cooks and their behaviour and absolutely the food! Anyone would get attracted to it. The food was delicious and fantastic. I usually ordered the Crispy Chilli Babycorn and the Wings if Fire (a Chicken Pakoda sort of dish). The thing is that they made the Babycorn with their fantastic Chinese Schezwan Sauce which gave me immense pleasure to eat them and then I stood licking my lips.
This place still is fantastic and I would recommend people to go over there.

The ambience is sooooo good.sooo cozy and soothing and relaxing environment.the food was just awesome.we had butter tandoori roti.and chicken butter masala.those were just awesome

One of the best in Barrackpore. Restaurant of my choice @ Barrackpore. My Guests, including Overseas guests have enjoyed food in this restaurant. Soups are of high quality.

Food is ok with a little high price but they served the dishes after 40 minutes of placing order.

Once upon a time, it was a good restaurant. But now a days, in the very competitive market it is fighting for the survival. Menu and food quality deprived, and the prices gone up, which turns it non-favourable as compared with previous stand or other restaurant.

The ambience is the plus point of the cafe. You will find peace in this cafe.and not to mention the quality of the food.the kebabs are really awesome.
