Viceroy Resort

It's a very clean hotel and the cost of room is satisfied. Situated in a prime location like Mandarmoni. Staff and service is very good with great hygiene.

The staff went above and above to ensure that the experience was enjoyable. And that is what really made the service stand out. The amenities offered by hotel enhanced it's allure.

Had visited Viceroy Resort for a friend's anniversary party with 125 guests. The service staff at the newly opened banquet as well as the pool side was on their toes with impeccable service. No body realised that the owner himself was not present for such an event. Absolutely recommended for a casual weekend getaway as well as away from home small / mid-scale events and celebrations.

The hotel rooms are not maintained. ACs do not work. We changed 3 rooms and then we got a room. The rooms are dusty too. They have a musty smell.

Rooms are very spacious and clean, proximity to the beach is very good.
The only flaw i found was unavailability of mini fridge considering the price they charge for the room. The management should be more flexible with checkout timings especially when we are with family.

Good place. Beach is about a 2 minute walk.
Few things can be better for e.g the service time is long enough to make you forget your order. Food was good but the waiting time for it isn't. Rooms are well spaced. The pool area, lawn, etc is very good for evening "sessions". One of the best things about this place is there is a pet shelter available at the property. If your are carrying your pet then you can be rest assured that it is well taken care of. To sum it up Viceroy gives you a pleasurable experience.

Hotel property is good and well design for family travelers. But service is the major concern it's must be better

Checked in today. Sea facing room was booked at a cost 5500/ night. When you open the balcony you see a dirty dumping garbage ground in front and beach in long distance. The bedsheets, pillow covers apoeared used and stained. Changed by staff on request. The toilets stained. Ac in room unresponsive and not working, does not appear to be serviced ever. Staff is all trainees. Went for lumch, nobody stops you if you dont wear a mask. A man in front of us sneezed five times all over the place on buffet table and nobody from management stopped him or took action. We had to speak to the manager, who i presume took steps because we could not eat after that and had to walkout. Dreading my stay here for next three days. Capt. Ashish Dandons

Rooms are very expensive and food is not good. Don't prefer this hotel. Very bad experience.

This hotel is very expensive in terms of room rent, food and services offered. Only appreciable one is the pool party in the evening. Restaurant services below average quality food at super expensive prices for instance milk for my kid was charged 80rs. Frequent power failures and air conditioner gets switched off during the day.

Excellent Food. Both Indian and Chinese. Helpful front desk. Requested a sea facing room on arrival. They were willing to show us around and finally gave us one. Reasonably prompt room service. Spacious property, but kitchen outlet is on the way to reception making part of the driveway dirty. No direct access to the beach unlike some adjacent resorts. Very poor wi-fi. Overall enjoyable stay

I travelled to Mandarmani this week with my wife 2.5 yr old daughter, Sister and Sister in law. I MUST say that I will come back again. Let me try to share the experience here

Pro's -
1. Seamless check-in process practically zero waiting time
2. Neat and clean well sanitised rooms
3. Sanitizer bottles with foot pump in many places.
4. Polite well behaved staff
5. Lots of open space in terms of lawns and gardens.
6. The pool area and the adjoint bar and snacks joint was very clean and tidy (we did not use the pool because of ongoing pandemic)
7. Rooms are very spacious with a very good Balcony and sea view (use booked sea facing rooms).
8. Beach is just a minute walk
9. Very good breakfast buffet and ala carte spread

Cons-
1. No temperature checks
2. Dining area - no mandatory sanitization
3. Servers should have been there to serve the food in from of each food stations rather than all touching. The servicing spoons and tongs which is not advisable during pandemic.

Overall - Highly recommend for stay with family and friends of all age group

This place is one of the most amazing hotels in Mondarmoni. The staff is very courteous, the hospitality is top notch. The room was squeaky clean, with all amenities. The USP was their restaurant. All the dishes ordered were superb. No complaints. Also the poolside is very beautiful, with a bar making amazing cocktails. Overall a good experience in a nice property to unwind. Although the beach is a minutes walk but that is hardly a downer.

The linen were dirty and torn. Washrooms were not very clean either. Food and room rent is overpriced

Viceroy is located at a 2 mins walking distance from the beach. It's built over a big area with all basic amenities like swimming pool, play areas, indoor games, restaurants etc. The overall resort is good compared to other hotels in Mandarmoni. However, the room rents and cost of food are quite high when you compare to the overall service and quality. When you are charging such a premium price tag you need to maintain that quality. Other than that no complaints. The food served at the Palms restaurant is fresh and good but the breakfast spread lacked the variety. The rooms are big and spacious especially the sea facing rooms are good. The staff were great and maintained all Covid19 protocols which I feel is the most important parameter in the current times. The 6-7 Km road from the main beach at Dadan Patra to the resort is quite bad. Overall, I would recommend Viceroy to anyone visiting Mandarmoni with friends or family.

Nice resort which is close to the beach. The resort is huge with a big lawn, lovely seating area and swimming pool. Good quality food available. Swimming pool was dirty so that was a fail. Maintanence is not good and slow service.

Room no 405 is very good with sea view. Behaviour of house keeping staff & waiter is mind-blowing. Price of food is high but quality is very good.

Worst experience. Poor service, dirty bed covers, cushions, pillows. In every mean, it's not worth going. Cutting my trip short because of this shabby hotel. Location is also not favorable.

Checked in today. The hotel is good, well maintained and hygienic. Staff is well behaved and co-operative. Beach is 5 mins walking distance from the hotel. Pool is neat and clean but wish there was music at the poolside. It's too quiet to be at the pool. Food is awesome and very scrumptious. The complimentary breakfast is a must try as they serve delicious varieties of breakfast buffet different on each day. The room keeping staff is very behaved. The room is being cleaned daily. They organize latest hit movies on a big screen in their garden area on weekends and offer live snacks drinks in their their open garden area after evening. Hotel Viceroy is surely one of the best hotel of Mandarmani to stay and relax with family and friends.

Well maintained property. Just 20-30 steps from beach. Pool side is great. Crowd is not cheap. They played DJ after 7 PM everyday. Enjoyed very much.

No welcome drink by resort.

This place was pathetic. Food was too costly and spicy. In every food u will find sweet taste too. Even in egg they add sugar.
Beach near this resort was really awful. And slippery.

The ambience was neat and clean. Food quality was awesome.all services were great with polite behaviour

Accommodation is very good, ambience is also very good. Very big lawn and a special swimming pool are the most attractive items. Approach road condition is lagging. Rooms are very big with almost all amenities. I think room rent is little costly. Very near to sea beach and sea is visible from the room. As a whole very enjoyable for the young couples and youngsters.

I would've rated it negetive if it was possible. Their ambience as well as staff's behaviour is pathetic, more over they cheats people by saying tht it is a star rated hotel. When in fact it is worse thn even a guest house at any village corner. No sea view rooms. They don't even have any direct sea access.

The property is very well made but the housekeeping staff have let the hotel down.

Iron water leaves yellow shabby marks in the commode and bathroom, taps are very dirty. Also the sheets on the bed had so many stains. After checking in had to ask them to change the sheets and wash the commode again for my satisfaction.

Food is very good and the lawns are well maintained.
Seeing the dogs and animals was a delight but it felt bad to see them caged up in small cubicles with dirty floors and so many mosquitoes, felt bad for them.

Also the staff are helpful but housekeeping staff is outsourced so they don't behave well.

And the people thinking it's a beach facing resort are in for a confusion as the resort is not beach facing. Anyway the beach isn't a huge draw as it is very dirty but that's not the hotel's fault.

Absolutely outstanding hotel.good environment.friendly staff. Also an excellent breakfast buffet. We will definetely come back with friends and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very good resort. Nice spacious rooms. Food was good. They had a games and dj night which was wonderfully organised. The swimming pool was clean. The only con about the resort is the price which is on little higher side.
