পুজো শেষ। পুজোর পরবর্তী সময়। প্রতিদিন প্যান্ডেল হপিং, এদিক-ওদিক খাওয়া-দাওয়া, আর এটা-সেটা কেনার পর পকেটের অবস্থা প্রায় গড়ের মাঠ। অথচ স্বভাবে হ্যাংলা হওয়ার দরুন প্রতি রোববার একটু পেটপুজো না করলেই নয়। পকেটের অবস্থা চিন্তা করে এক বন্ধুর মারফত জানতে পারি এই Yum Street এর কথা। দাবি ছিল একটাই, কম খরচে অতুলনীয় খাবার খাওয়া। কথামতো চলে গেলাম।

এই রেস্টুরেন্টটি যাদবপুর 8B বাসস্ট্যান্ডের পাশ দিয়ে যে রাস্তাটা যাদবপুর টেলিফোন এক্সচেঞ্জের দিকে গেছে, সেই রাস্তা দিয়ে জাস্ট 2 মিনিট। একেবারে টেলিফোন এক্সচেঞ্জের বিপরীতে। Zomato তে এর লোকেশন্ পেয়ে যাবেন।

ঠিক যেমনটা শুনেছিলাম ঠিক তাই। খাবারের দাম দেখে প্রথমে একটু অবাকই হয়েছিলাম। যাইহোক ভেবে ভালো লাগছিল যে অত্যন্ত পকেট সাপেক্ষ একটি রেস্টুরেন্টে এসেছি। কিন্তু অবাক হবার এটাই বাকি ছিল না। আসল অবাক হলাম যখন খাবারগুলো আমাদের সামনে আনা হলো। দামের তুলনায় এত অসাধারণ খাবার কোথাও পাওয়া যায় বলে আমার মনে হয় না। শুধুমাত্র পরিমাণ এর কথা বলছি না, খাবার গুলির লেভেল ছিল জাস্ট Beyond my expectation। আমরা যেই খাবারগুলি অর্ডার করেছিলাম, সেগুলি হল:
1. Barbecue Chicken Burger
2. Chicken Wings
3. Chicken Cheese Fuchka?
4. Oreo Shake?
5. Barbecue Chicken Pizza

দাম অত্যন্ত সাধ্যের মধ্যে। দুইজনের আনুমানিক খরচ ₹300-400।
বিশ্বাস না হলে একবার ঘুরেই আসুন। বারবার যেতে ইচ্ছা করবে। মিলিয়ে নেবেন।

One of my friends suggested me to visit this new place as I always prefer to visit cafes. Soon after I was introduced to this newly opened food joint "Yumm street", located near Jadavpur Telephone Exchange. If you want to come from Jadavpur 8b it will take 5 to 8 minutes approximately to locate this place.

Yumm street is a newly opened small food joint, offering us all mouthwatering and
yummilicious food items in a pocket friendly budget. This place can accommodate 5-6 people at a time so don't expect fine dining over there but you can surely expect good, droolworthy items from this place. My most favourite item of this place is chocolate and Butterscotch phuchka.

Living in Kolkata, Phuchka is like an emotion to me.we all love phuchka because of its sour and spicy flavour. But then I came to know that this place is actually serving Phuchka with ice cream and has converted this chatpata spicy item into dessert item. I'm sure of those people who never love phuchka will gonna love this item too. Most recommended item of this place.

They also serve different kinds of Burger, pizza, sandwich, dahi puchka, mocktails etc. I tried their Tandoori pizza which was quite good I liked the pizza crust it wasn't too hard and the amount of chicken and cheese in pizza was quite good According to the price.

Chicken fried burger: The amount of fried chicken in burger was worth mentioning at this price. Not only quantity, it also good in quality.

So I'm really looking forward to visit this place soon.

Yumm Street, the newest cafe is located just opposite to Jadavpur Telephone Exchange, just 2/3 mins walking distance from Jadavpur 8B Bus Stand.

This cozy cafe is thoughtfully decorated with flower vases. There is a book rack on the wall along with a fish jar. The open kitchen set up is giving you a chance to experience the live prepration of your dish that we have ordered.

My favourite picks are
Chicken Supreme Cheese Burst Crust- Cheese & Pizza are match in heaven! It's more tasty when it's loaded with shredded chicken, bell peppers, black olives. Amazing tasty.

? Chicken Cheese Phuchka- A Must Try Item! Homemade crisp hollow balls stuffed with chicken, cheese & sauce. This savoury phuchka will definitely win millions of hearts!

? Butterscotch With Chocolate Phuchka- Have you ever imagined butterscotch icecream & Phuchka at one place? Well, I was so surprised when I was introduced to it. This is a unique type of Phuchka where the stuffing is made with butterscotch icecream, chocolate syrup, cherry & choco chips! Once you have it, the sweetness will definitely uplift your mood with happiness!

Grilled Chicken Burger- A perfect grilled chicken is placed between the buns & served with lots of french fries. Well, the portion & taste both deserve a BIG CLAP!

BBQ Chicken Wings With Skin- The specially of these wings is they are completely BAKED. Yes, you heard it right, the wings are first marinated & then baked. The juicy texture is the primary attention of it!

? Oreo Milkshake- The classic Oreo Milkshake has a sweet punch of the sweetness of Oreo.

This one deserves to be their signature dish since at this price the quantity they serve is extremely good, The chicken patty and the filling along with cheese, Served and chips remains my favourite

And Calwslaw sandwich - Without comprising the quantity, The Pizza was great in taste and the sandwich stands tall with all the filling in it.
Featuring their Doi fuchka and Ice Cream Fuchka, Yes a fuchka that comes with ice cream as its base and topped with extremely delicious chocolate toppings, If you are a fan of desserts like me you should not miss this opportunity of trying this one.
