One of the best beaches in South Gujarat area surrounded by UT of Daman & industrial hub Vapi

Beach is full of stones and black soil. When you walk barefoot, you'll get very gritty feeling which you may not like.
Not a place to fully enjoy the beach experience.

One of the best place for photography in Daman and you see rocks near the beach which makes the beach outstanding, but the water is dirty.

Black sand beach in daman. Absolutely clean beach. U have horse n camel rides here. Small eateries are there on the promenade. Bhel, sandwich, maggi, sweet corn all these for a reasonable price. The sunset was beautiful. The breeze was very soothing. Must visit for evening and morning walks.

Devka Beach is one of the very famous beaches in Daman it is very beautiful and serene. We visited during the sunset but couldn't witness it as it was very cloudy.
People were sitting there and having drinks openly near the beach.
I have heard that this beach gives Goa vibes but in reality, nothing is like that. Moreover, Daman beaches are silent and not that happening.
The ride from Devka Beach to Black Sand Beach was amazing.

Devka Beach is the most beautiful and best beach of Daman. Devka Beach also has good food and drink facilities and is great for walking. You can take very good photos on Devka beach. You can also do horse riding on Devka Beach. You can find affordable hotels around Devka Beach.

It's under construction as on date23 October 2021 but sure will be as beautiful as jumpora beach

While visit during november 2021 its still under developing stage. So, it will be better to visit in future after it gets ready

I did not like the beach. It’s rocky and water recedes backward during low tide making it the least aspired beach. Thus check the tide time and then venture.

At least the drive beside the sea could have been enjoyable but that also is under construction and therefore should be avoided as the roads are bumpy over chips laid down at this point. Probably when the constructions gets over it will look similar to the Jampore boulevard but that is quite some time away. Would recommend not more than 30
mins in the evening to catch up the sunset which is a treat.

Liquor is available illegally and sold by vendors selling other items. Better not to entertain them

The upgradation and renovation work of this beach is still in progress. Hence the beach is less popular among the tourists.

Would suggest don't go for swimming at this beach. There are lot of rocks near the beach which are visible during low tide. Beach is a lot dirty and water is also muddy. It is good only for watching Sunset.

Its a nice beach. Gets crowded on weekends. Black sand. Lots of hotels are located near the beach. It is getting developed as a tourist attraction.

Devka Beach, Daman. It's a Union Territory controllled by Central Govt - India, So Gujarat state laws are not applicable here. Good facilities of parking. Too costly price for hotel stay so you can choose "Vapi" for stay (Vapi is just 25-30 kms far from Daman). Local street vendors will ask you for drink, but humbly deny it please. Alcohol is most dangerous & harmful for your health, mental conditions, and character, too! Kindly avoid it.

It's also most popular beach in Daman. But for now it is in construction so nothing much to see here. Also the water is very dirty here. If you stay in resort near Devka beach then you can see outside seashore of resort.
Well, Jampore beach is far better than this beach.

Nice beach, beautiful beach, not advisable to visit on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, very populated place, but good beach can visit from Tuesday to Friday!

When i visited, it's like lockdown time, so I don't enjoyed well, but may be it's just a bad timing, otherwise it's a nice place!

Very good and holy place.
Over the course of my life I've been to lots of places. Shadowed places where things have gone wrong. Sinister places where things still are. I always hate the sunlit towns, full of newly built developments with double-car garages in shades of pale eggshell, surrounded by green lawns and dotted with laughing children. Those towns aren't any less haunted than the others. They're just better liars.

Beach is good.but major work is going on beach, which will take very much time.its better to come here after work is done

Don't go here just yet since there is work going on so there is no beach better go to some other beach till the time work is done in this beach

It is under construction, don't visit here, but unfortunately all the good hotels are at Devka and there is only one Fern hotel at Jampore Beach. There is one Govt. Circuit house too at the beach.

Clean, well maintained beach with some amazing water sport activities. It has been renovated last year and the new avatar look very beautiful. Shacks on the beach serve delicious local delicacies especially sea food. Avoid going on sundays, if you don't like crowded places. Super crowded during weekends.

It's too dirty and unorganised. Not a beach in true sense since you cannot reach the sea water which is very far off the roads. Roadside small shacks are there for people to have snacks and drinks. This area is not recommended for family groups. Not would I recommend it to anyone wanting a decent environment at a beach. You will just find drunk young men.

Need so much development here to attract the tourist. Cleanliness also required. Need of proper parking facilities. Near beach area you can find tasty and all kind of variety of foods.

Quiet and peaceful place.just select a shack to sit in and enjoy a nice drink. Can get gr8 non veg food at these shacks.veg people have option of bhaiyas roaming on the beach.

Its a rocky kind of beach. Not the one's which you expect. Its better to go out in the evening as it is high tide. There are shacks available where you can drink and have fun.

It is exactly opposite to silver sands beach resort. Good place. But water will be too far from beach till 1pm. In the afternoon it will come till beach area.

Beach is under renovation. Gov.making jogging and cycling track. Need more Dustbin in beach. Stalls in beach which provide sea food and alcohol. Atleast thank God gov is not charging parking fees.

This beach is in Nani Daman. It has more visitors than the jampore beach in Moti Daman. It's more developed and more commercialized. It's clean compared to jampore beach. There are many hotels and resorts nearby. Good place to unwind and relax. Parking space is a problem during evenings on weekends and holidays.

Nice place nice beach don't go Sunday it's too much croude. If you wont to go Sunday please go on Saturday. So you enjoy bookings and all.

Calm, peaceful beach which one can witness. It's back sand beach with beautiful stones and very very tiny black stones, which is very smooth and soft. We couldn't go till water as it was quite far. Outside their are small stalls where you can have nice breakfast and tea.

This beach is not a clean nor a good for family. If you are bechler men then can go. Land is very curve and zigzag mode. Sea water is very salty with mud. It's a rocky beach, not good for swimming, Even during low tide water is far away. Not worth a visit.

Being a rocky beach there is not much that can be done here, though there are camels and horses for riding other than that not much to do, the beach itself is very dirty

Lots of stuff to see and the local shops are worth better to eat non vegs then going to the highly prices hotels.cheers

Clean beach with decent crowd, one can do horseriding, camel riding, bughy riding.you can also have paragliding experience on beach.

This is a black sand beach, popular destination among all tourists.good for a family outing. The cafes and restaurants alongside the beach road are good.
One word of caution - the sea water recedes almost 2-3 kms during the day and hits the shore again in the evening. There are no warning boards but this phenomenon occurs every single day.

Beaches are supposed to be beautiful with clean waters hitting the shoreline with clean embankments where you can go and relax. Devka beach is just the opposite. Muddy waters with garbage and empty bottles littered all over, it is a horrifying view; went in and out of this place without wasting much time. Better avoid this place even if you are desperate.
