It is a large government accommodation hostel for entry level government officials. It has 6 nos of block A, B, C, D, E, F with

Calm, peaceful and green place to live. It is a DS type quarters with 1 BHK apartments. The rooms are small, suitable for a small family. The campus is spacious, with lot of trees around. There are also small parks and exercise facilities. It is opposite CGO Complex and close to JLN Stadium metro station.

Also to add the cons, it is a very old building and has its disadvantages like frequent maintenance, leakages, blocks, weak and tight glass windows etc. There are not many shops nearby, nor any medical stores. There is a mini market where you can get basic groceries and vegetables.

Best place to reside in for those who have their offices in CGO complex. Connected with metro train service, convinience is at doorstep. Cleaniliness is an issue with garbage littered all over the place.

Centrally located, convenient for boarding trains from nizammuddin railway stn. JLN metro stn is in 100 mtr walk.

The place is really secure for the most part and the people living nearby are pretty good. I’ve always felt welcome even after the secure nature of the place.

My fiancé has been living here for around 7 years or so and she’s been pretty happy overall, the only disadvantage is due the nature of the army like area, the amount of restaurants that deliver to this area is lesser than normal.

Awesome location, Large parking space and lots of green area inside. Maintenance by CPWD is not up to mark. Still a nice place.

Opposite Jawahar lal Nehru stadium.
Green and nice residential society.
Guards need to be little alert.

One of the best place to stay in Delhi for small family. All places of Delhi are under reach. Parking inside is sufficient for the occupants. Metro station and bus stop, both are under reach. Inside the campus greenery is sufficient and many small gardens provide the opportunity for morning exercise.

Small apartments but it can extended by covering the balcony. The PVH is very well situated as the metro gate is just on the boundaries of it.

Nehru stadium adjusting Pragati vihar hostal is excellent/ green park.visiting/ evening walking experience is good

A transit accomodation for central govt employee near Lodhi Road.though location is ultra prime, standard of buildings and sanitation are average.don't be confuse with the name as it is not hostel in sense of University and Schools.hostel in Govt accomodation means transit accomodation having one bed room and one large hall with kitchen, balcony and washroom separately.this was constructed in the year 1980 when India hosted probably Asiad games.this complex is Having approximately 700 houses in apartment form and divided between blocks having lift for each block.this is near to Jawaharlal Nehru stadium and opposite to CGO Complex. Jawaharlal Stadium Metro is very close and is unique facility.this complex is maintained by CPWD which is poor and average.location wise it is ultra prime and parking facilities are excellent as lot space is available.
