Manyata Stay

In one word- PATHETIC.

We had booked an accomodation for 4 people and when one of the inmates went to check the place he was greeted by a care free caretaker who showed him flats with the worst possible hygiene conditions.

When I asked the owner about this and also explained to him that the caretaker is not providing the right information: owner went defensive and asked me to stop giving him business advices.

Extremely bad vibes and extremely negative experience. Wish google had a negative rating

Pros - 1. The building is located near Thanisandra junction as advertised.
2. Property is well lit and ventilated.
3. Rent is on the lower side. (excluding water and electricity)

Cons - 1. Manager Arjun is a horrible person to deal with. I was in a tight spot as my family was moving to banagalore urgently for treatment. So had to go with this property despite Arjun abusing us. He will openly threaten about using his local muscle to harass you if you ask him to keep his end of the bargain. Despite all the big talk, he is still a small time goon who wont return 5000 rs taken as security. And the caretaker guy, janardan is a thief who stole 500 rs from me.

2. This Arjun guy didnt even pay his electricity bills from previous months on the property and asked me to pay and adjust from later months bill. When i refused (as i would just stay for 1 month) he said then BESCOM people will come and disconnect power. Which thankfully didnt happen and i also didnt have to pay him any of his previous month bills. One day someone had even intentionally turned off our power main during this period. We suspect it could be the janardan guy working under orders from Arjun to harass us.

3. Water shortage is acute. Frequent tankers are required during april-may. They will ask for 1200 rs extra.

4. Electricity problem is also there in the area and there is no power back up in the building. They will arrange some rickety old inverter if you ask for. Which will ofcourse increase rent.

5. All the appliances Arjun said he would provide during initial discussion were broken and we had to arrange for replacements ourselves - like fridge, washing machine etc.

Remember, all of this harassment when my mother in law is in hospital, going under severe surgical procedures for cancer treatment.

All in all - stay away unless there is someone's life on the line.

Worst place to stay in Bangalore. After you pay the deposit, owner will not listen to you, no matter what the issue, you are responsible for that. Also i can guarantee that you won't get your deposit back.

This is the most pathetic place to stay. The owner is the worst - Arjun. This place has no water and electricity and half of the time you will end up without both of them and of course the irresponsible owner will not care about it. I was promised fully furnished place with AC and TV. Both were found damaged and when asked to repair the owner absolutely took no need and I ended up paying for all repair. This place is not worth staying at ALL.

‌this is the worst place ever we got, we came for a medical purpose at the starting of 5th of march in manyata stay, because the place we were staying earlier has restrictions saying more than 4 people are not allowed to stay in the apartment, so we moved in here because there are no restrictions like that since my family members were planning to come at the time of transplant, and we talked to the owner (arjunan) regarding so many things, and we asked about the water, he said it goes for a few minutes and always comes back again, and we dont have to pay for the water at all, and the way he talked it seemed like he was a nice guy, and there were other people staying in mayata stay who were same from our country (maldives), we enquired them about the palace and maintenance.they also lied to us, they said everything is fine, they also feel comfortable, so we decided to move in by giving an advance of 10k, and rent of 22k per month, which we didnt know that the actual amount is 20k, because we later talked to some people from india who were staying there for 20 k, as we are foreigners we dont have any friends in here since our country people also went back to their homeland before we moved in, only one family were staying there, when we came. <br/>the place was not clean, me, my father who is the patient and my mom were only there, the boy who was working there (debashish) only swept the floor very carelessly and went, it took the whole day for us to clean the apartment, and we were already tired because we just came with all our belongings, days passed by and everyday there were water problems, it might not come even for a day or two, this was causing a big problem for us since water is a basic need for living beings.he has a tanker where he fills up the tank by bringing water but he isn't bringing that amount of water, we asked the owner also about it and he said it is because it is summer and the tanker guys demand is high because the bore wells have dried in all the places and every one is ordering for water, which might be true, but if he orders it earlier this will not happen right.and the bore well he is having is broken which we got to know later that it has been broken for almost more than a year, i dont know why he doesn't even try to fix it, and i got a chance to look at the tank where he fills up the water and i was shocked to see that the water was really untidy due to the dirtiness of the tank, it hasn't been cleaned for a long time, the water we collect in the bucket also have so many stuffs which gets stuck at the bottom of the bucket, he once collected water while it was raining without even cleaning the terrace every dirt was collected in to the tanker along with the water, then the electricity bill came which were too costly the bill came as a sum of around 3500 rupees, which mostly doesn't exceed max 1500 rupees in other apartments we stayed, i dont exactly know why but we have also been limiting the electricty as much as possible because we are the ones who have to pay for that.we have been paying for the gas and drinking water also.at the middle of april my father was getting some infections in his hand near the area where injections were given since he is undergoing dialysis 3 times a week, and the doctor has adviced us to be very precautious with my father since he is already sick and old.he was having itchiness in parts of his body which is normal as some dialysis patient gets itchiness, but later he was getting itchiness in almost every part of his body which was unbearable for him to avoid, we showed it to a skin doctor immediately and the doctor also said to avoid the water beacause it might be the cause of infection, and so we started to search for an another apartment, and we told him once we got an apartment and due to the short notice we were not able to get the advance back, and we were forced to pay for the water also, 800 for march& april, we couldn't do anything other than writing this review cox we are just foreigners.

I have stayed here from Dec 2019 to March 2019, this place is very near to Manyata tech park. They have provided us with cooking gas stove, Refrigerator, Bed coat and sofa. The main thing I liked here is the covered parking area. I am also read many reviews about the water issue. During my stay time whenever I faced water issue I will go and inform the care-takener, he will switch on the motor and with in few the issue is solved. We had paid the one month rent as advance amount and we got back our advance amount on next month (May 2019) by reducing EB bill and cleaning charge (Rs. 500).

Good cossy place close to manyata tech park. Got good amenities with reasonable price as well. I highly suggest this place to anyone and everyone in the close vicinity.
