! I recently visited The Coffee House in Mangalore and it was a great experience. The ambience of the cafe is really nice, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I tried their chicken wings, nuggets, pizza, chicken sandwich, and some desserts. Let me tell you, the food was absolutely delicious! The flavors were on point and everything was cooked to perfection. The only downside was that the service took a bit longer than expected, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that, I still had a wonderful time. Overall, I would give The Coffee House a solid four-star rating. If you're looking for a place with a great ambience and tasty food, this is definitely a spot worth checking out!
A nice place to hangout with friends. Its a good place for small birthday parties. Service was ok. Food was good. Cajun spiced Sandwich and chicken garlic were yumm. Cranberry slush was very sweet. Couldn't finish it.
It's my first time in Mangalore and for coffee addicted person like me this place was a great found. Perfectly done cappuccino, delicious food, cozy interior, professional service make this place must have to visit. Thank you
Very bad service, Very impatient waiter No privacy They always walks around watching us They want us to leave even before finishing, what they served Never going to visit again
Entered with high expectations, came out disappointed. The frappe wasn't cold, half the cup was just ice cubes, the drink quantity was probably 100ml since they use tall but extremely thin glasses to make the drink look deceptively large. Seriously, for the price we paid, it was no where close to worth it.
The food is goood, but slightly costly. We ordered Spaghetti Alfredo and hot chocolate with marshmallows. The Spaghetti was absolutely delicious. The decor is kinda similar to the chocolate room which was here before but the colour scheme of this place has been made blue and cream along with some other additions. Overall 8.5/10 for place but 9.5/10 for food.
The ambience was good and even the service good musics were also good We had Ferrero rocher shake, mint mojito, alferedo penne pasta, veg momos, Mexican quesadilla and fonde The pasta was okay okay 3/5 but the rest were amazing 5/5 ratings
The food was good. The servers were rude.verry rude. They don't know how to deal with kids/ toddlers.when toddlers are around it's bond to be messy or noisy. That doesn't mean you need to be rude to the parents.
One of the most underrated hangout places in Mangalore. The cheesy nachos are the best here in the whole Mangalore. The garlic bread choices, sandwiches, waffles, marshmallow chocolate dip.everything is top notch and yum. Favorite place for the tiny ones.
Food was good, but the staff here is very inco-operatie and apathic.we ordered vegetarian quesadillas and the waiter served us non- vegetarian ones. Two of my friends are pure vegetarians (jain and sharma). Before we could realise it.they had already eaten them. We took this matter to the manager who was completely unaffected with the fact that the waiter hurt my friend's religious sentiments and instead blamed us.they were reluctant to even apologize to them.
So we tried the chocolate room located at Empire Mall (the only saving grace is TCR) last evening. This cafe is situated right on the main road, so it's not difficult to locate it. My boy wanted hot chocolate and i was looking to try something chilled.
On entry we noticed some very instragram-able decor, high and low seating space of almost 8 tables, A small private party hall. The chiller at the reception counter was filled with lots of goodies. Plenty of chocolates, mints, beverages, cakes, muffins, nuts, choco gift hampers etc etc. At the centre was this huge rose decor tower which allows you to take all the pretty pictures.
The menu was handed to us and OMG! It was soooo elaborate. One of their best sellers is the Irish coffee and i was recomended to try that by the staff. And ofcourse for him we took the classic chocolate granita. They give you an option to have it in their signature cuddle cup or the regular mug.
Their menu has sooo much to offer other than hot or cold coffees. They have chocolate "shots on the bar", chocshakes, mocktails and chocotails, Belgium frappes, a selection of hot teas. To eat, they have the most desired chocolate fondue available in dark, milk and white choco, waffles and sundaes, nuggets and fries, mexican variety of nachos and quesadillas, enchiladas, pastas and pizzas, wraps, burgers, fusion sandwiches, burritos, choco pizza, sweet crepes, pancakes, breads and salads. WOAAAH!
Shortly our beverages arrived. The chilled Irish coffee was so pretty by itself. The rim of the bottle had chocolate glazed around. So fancy! So edible. Eat and drink your chocolate. Ofcourse the drinks were automatically swapped once served!
So all the choco lovers in Mangalore! Do check this place out and tell me what you think. It was my first visit and i am surely going back to try their food.
Classy ambience. Good options on the menu for someone with a sweet tooth or even some savoury short-bites. The service is quick, polite and warm. They have amazing collections of chocolates, assorted nuts, mints and everything else on the counter! They even have amazing options for pre-order cakes. Almost all flavours are yummy, with good, minimal customising options. There is good parking space offered by the Empire Mall.
The chocolate dishes they have here are finger licking good! N the other Food dishes here are good as well. The service is excellent. However, it’s a little on the expensive side.
Worst food ever. Pls don't try this place. I ordered a burger which had a very bad odour.n the fries tasted very bad. Best thing I'll find here is the bisleri water bottle.
Truly NOT authentic food. The Alfredo sauce has Indian masala flavor, enchilada tasted like aloo/corn paratha, don’t serve soft drink, don’t serve water if you don’t ask them, very poor service. I do not recommend! They might have few food that is edible. Pizza, Alfredo pan pasta.
Excellent food. Service is a, bit slow and waiters seem to sport a I don't care attitude. The manager was on his headphones watching something. So the service element needs to go up definitely. Decor is a bit rundown. Would come here again specially if service changes.
It was my one of the worst experience ever. I ordered a pizza and French fries. And there was no hot chocolate in the chocolate room yesterday. The pizza was so small for ₹360 I was shocked by seeing that small pizza Not worth for what you pay. The attenders were standing and staring at me while eating I was exited when I entered but I was upset when i saw the food. Even the pizza worth ₹360 didn't taste good. The cost is too high for the quality. I even didn't understand the menue.even afterbpaying ₹360 for such a small pizza we don't get cold air from the AC It may cost ₹2000 for two people because stmoch will never fill because of less quantity and high cost.chocolate room 8n in the upper 1st floor in empire mall. If you love chocolate and ready to spend it's best place for you.bit of you go order the chocolate items and never but the pizza because the pizza taste is bad and the cheese on the top was like plastic. I'll never go back there again. I have even asked my friends about chocolate room even they don't like it because of the price. It makes no sense when same size of pizza from pizza hut costs ₹125 which tastes good and pizza from chocolate room worth ₹360 is of same size and taste bad. The presentation of pizza was good but taste was really bad. And they even dont provide complementary water and the attenders ask do you want a plate to eate.
